You have everyone wear masks, and things get a little dicey.... Without them.... it's usually just people dancing shoulder to shoulder. It helps the entire crowed take some risks.

Another strategy of mine was to never treat a girl badly, even if just a date, I treated them as if they were my best girl for the duration of that date.

Even for short term, I always showed them a good time,  treated them like a lady, made sure they had fun.

I've had girls tell me that they only slept with me, because they had talked to other girls who said I was a sweet guy.

That works for the long term, but when you're at a club and are on a strict time limit... you don't want to wasting half your time picking up girl.... you want to be enjoying the music...

I could enjoy myself at a club without picking up, I was cute enough to always find dance partners, but a lot a nights I just walked away at the end, "thanks, I'll see ya around"

Yeah, I loved it just to have club girls as friends, just to hang out with, to have a girl with you at the club, but not for sex, just for company.

It's a funny a guy who uses to hate me.... was partying at one of my surprise parties and didn't even know it.

He was super critical of me.... and then his jaw dropped when he found out I was the DJ... It was nice rubbing it in.

I've hald a mild stroke a few years back, so I haven't gone clubbing since. Sometimes my vision goes haywire and I see giant blue floaters strobbing in my eyes. Right now the room looks a little more yellow than normal, and a migraine it coming on.

I can't really sleep around like I use too. It has to be when i'm not flaring up, or I'll get very light headed.

I definitely got in more than my fair share of fights.

Sometimes I just went to the bars to fight.   I would just wait until some guy assumed he was in my league, then I would buckle him

Sometimes it would be a melee where there were multiples and I had to fight my way out of the box.

Sometimes you have to blow off some army aggression at some guy who is asking for it.

Like I had no male friends other than my army buddies.

I was only interested in civilian girls.  

Civilian guys I had contempt for.

I liked spending time with girls, no interest in hanging out with civvie dudes, I just wanted to buckle them.

The male aggression in the infantry is off the charts

I got out of the whole club scene when I started dating my steady girlfriend in Petawawa, she was such a doll, I had no reason to go back to Toronto anymore.

After we broke up, it wasn't too long after that I met my wife.

So I was super steady girlfriend, then happily married, my clubbing days are so long ago now.

I look at pictures of myself then, and he is just a boy.  He is cute, but he looks like a teenager to me now.

I am the monster now, grizzled, weather beaten, scarred,  my wife is all I am interested in now,  beauty and the beast.

Not anymore.  I live in Wellington County.   I'm not a club fiend anymore, I'm a Redneck now.

But I am Gen X, we never had any musical tribes, we were all over the place, so I like every type of music, from Country & Western to Trap and Trance.
