Argus Posted September 2, 2019 Report Posted September 2, 2019 So now we know, straight from the horse's mouth (or lion if you prefer) that the reason the NDP is behind on nominating candidates is because they're looking for just about anyone other than white men. More than half his selected candidates are women, he says. Weirdly, he also says they're harassing women to run. Yes, that's right. No doesn't mean no when it comes to the NDP. They just keep bugging you to run. https://globalnews.ca/news/5839509/ndp-jagmeet-singh-candidates/ Quote "A liberal is someone who claims to be open to all points of view — and then is surprised and offended to find there are other points of view.” William F Buckley
cannuck Posted September 3, 2019 Report Posted September 3, 2019 No doubt they are simply following the Liberal's success. Sadly, their failure as an effective party means any vote would not have gone Cons will go Lib. Even those that WILL go cons are going to be watered down by Bernier. Quote

The NDP and the Conservatives both picked duds for leaders. Though to be fair to the NDP, they figured they were being so wonderfully progressive and inclusive they'd pick up a lot of lefty Liberal votes. They didn't seem to be aware that Trudeau was out Leftying them. Not to mention the rise of anti-immigration sentiment, esp in Quebec, made their choice of a very, very visible Sikh not a good idea. There's a saying in my community that make sure you're choosing people who choose you. NDP cannot campaign on green, loose immigration laws, equitable wages, lgbtqwerty ..... They are worse than conservatives. NDP want to play identity politics., but they have no identity, Beside, I doubt we want a "minority" PM The btmline is that there are not much people will want to run for NDP becasue it is a sinking ship Quote

He even tried to out-Castro Trudeau too. After a tweet like this, how does this moron get taken seriously? Quote
