I would except change:

8. Pro more power to provinces

to

8. Pro having services 100% delivered by the level of gov't that is most effective at delivering these services without any thought to ideology regarding feds vs. provinces.

and

8. Pro war on terrorism

to

8. Pro treating the problem of terrorism as a serious police/public safety matter and anti-useless fear mongering rhethoric about wars on abstract concepts.

and I would add:

13. Pro drug de-criminalization.

Oh of course, just Marijuana, Hash, and Shrooms

Yeah that party sounds good to me, although I think with the pro choice we should work to discourage abortions. not in the lets harrass women who go to get abortions outside of clinics by screaming at them sense, just through education and offering positive alternatives.

I say we give it a name that befits the tradition of the British system we have.

The G.Y.N.H.O.P.P. or Guys You've Never Heard Of Political Party.

When we win can I be the Heritage Minister?

I think the Canadian political system needs a major overhaul and start a new. People are losing faith, everyone is the same, Conservatives, Liberals, NDP, well they never got a chance but Ontario had a go with them for a bit. Anyway, yes a new party is a good idea and one that stands for good old fashion Canadiann values that made this country long time ago a great one and worth living in.

It is much simpler than this.

Pick the party that most closely resembles your opinion and join.

Then help out. Sign up as many members as you can that are like you.

All parties are coalitions and will not represent individuals. That is democracy.

Our leaders should lead a little more and I think we would all feel better. Cast a vision that we can rally around. Not a bunch of one off issues. Show me the world that you desire.

I'd be down for everything except Kyoto, not because I'm for or against it just because I haven't had a chance to study it as I would like. I think I'll hit up wikipedia right now and learn about it.

Most of this is currently in the CPC policy book.

If they'd only stop dragging themselves down with this SSM bullshit they'd be a much more mainstream party.

I agree with this. Now we are out of the house it will be easier. In the house the governing party sets the agenda.

I look forward to see what agenda Harper chooses to focus on over the summer.

That's what I did, and on the things I disagree with the party on I try in my own little corner to change it instead of jumping ship.
