  1. Whatever happened to the old adage, stage your point of view and arguments for support and that should suffice even the toughest of critics. I think what Seinfeld is saying is well versed and should not be hounded or made to feel guilty for his stance on an issue such the one under discussion.
  2. You mean the silent minority. Anyway, yeah, I totally understand and agree with what you are saying.
  3. I am gonna check that link out. And yes, leaders, political colours, they are all the same. We may see these leaders as heroes or people to represent our opinion, but in the end, they are human and tempted to satisfy their own interests. www.sirjohnmag.ca
  4. All I have done in this thread is speak the truth. All the Liberals seem able to come back with is glossing over the truth and again trying to point the finger at those nasty right wingers. Why don't thre Liberals look in the mirror and examine the disgracenthey have turned our parlaiment into, instead of trying to blame everything on the party that isn't even in power. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well put and there is nothing wrong with what you said.
  5. I think the Canadian political system needs a major overhaul and start a new. People are losing faith, everyone is the same, Conservatives, Liberals, NDP, well they never got a chance but Ontario had a go with them for a bit. Anyway, yes a new party is a good idea and one that stands for good old fashion Canadiann values that made this country long time ago a great one and worth living in.
  6. Canadians have this need to be like Americans I agree. Toronto, well it might just fit right in with the people of New York because the people dont stop and say hello and are rather not so kind to others. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am sure the founder will not suffer the same fate as the one for George Magazine did. Does that mean, he or she is not allowed to take plane rides?
  7. Well Canada really needs to shape up and smell the coffee. At the same time, we are not in the mood for an election at this time but with the way things are going, we may be forced to go to the polls in the fall. Its like in Italy, they have elections every year because their political mirror is cracked.

  9. A new magazine is being developed in Toronto called Sir John, named after the first PM of Canada. Anyway, I think its high time somebody came up with a publication that had cutting edge articles and forums for people to participate in. Be sure to check it out at www.sirjohnmag.ca The site apparently wont be completed until late summer for launch to the public. I just think its a great idea and worth checking and supporting.
  10. I saw a new online Canadian political magazine being developed and I think its a perfect idea for us to finally have a voice and also, a unique publication because Canada sure lacks in that department. Apparently its still being developed and ready for a fall launch to the public. Go check it out and be informed and you can also enter the forums and discuss various topics and issues.
