I agree over population is the problem so wonder why Canada or any country which says it wants to reduce pollution and change the climate, would agree to mass migration.  Adding millions more people to the country would increase pollution, carbon footprints along with requiring more agriculture, water, infrastructure and on and on.  You can't promise to do something about climate change and pollution while at the same time agreeing to take in millions more people.
