There are passages dealing with Canaanites which sound quite violent but do not even come close to what Altai has misrepresented and fabricated. Furthermore anyone knowing anything about Judaism knows that the Torah is not law by itself. The Torah's passages even where they are written do not mean what they literally state. To understand them one must also read the commentaries of Rabbiahs who then interpret them and are sometimes placed in Bibles depending on the edition. As well Jewish laws are further enunciated in the Talmud and essays from Rabbiahs. The Torah is not a fixed set of laws with a literal meaning. Each passage has many different interpretations and no one in Judaism believes how the Torah was written for Biblical warfare applies today. Unlike Islam, Judaism is a fluid religion, it continually is up-dated and re-interpreted to have new meanings and applications. Its not read in only one context. Because Altai is a bigoted Muslim taught to interpret the Koran in a rigid one size fits all interpretation of its passages "she" thinks the same holds true of the Bible. The fist six books of the Bible, the Torah are not fixed in meaning.
