JamesHackerMP
Anyone familiar with the game? (the real kind, see below) I'm not talking about the tile-matching solitaire game, nor the "american version" popular in retirement communities mostly among women, by the way.
The_Squid
I play with (against) my spouse's family at Xmas time. They're hardcore. I think I won once....
DogOnPorch
I have Go and Mah Jong. Haven't cracked either in years, though. Wargames took over my gaming in the teen years...great fun. This was a typical favorite of ours...took 4-6 to play properly...2 could...but a lot of logistics in a battle that sized. And Bloody April was small next to a beast like this combo... https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/8993/fire-east https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/7690/scorched-earth ...which were just the Russian Front in this series... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europa_(wargame) ...that all fit together to allow one to play WW2 in Europe/North Africa in detail. We never got THAT far...lol. Edited March 21, 2017 by DogOnPorch

I used to play it as a kid. It's the kind wherein the tiles have Chinese characters. I haven't played for decades..... JamesHackerMP
Yeah that's it. The little tiles with the Chinese characters. Kind of like Gin Rummy in a way.
