Years ago, I discovered MLW. For me  at the time coming from abroad, it was a place to stop in, discuss Canadian politics freely with others across Canada, in English.

At the time, I appreciated the freedom to post what I wanted to say.

Greg, all the sophisticated software is irrelevant; make it easy for people like me, 10 or so years ago.

PS. I have no problem with side-ads.

Didn't they say at the time there was no choice for technical reasons, that the software HAD to be upgraded?

Initially I had a bit of trouble with the new software because I didn't know how to use it.

Now I wouldn't go back. Selective quoting used to be a chore, and now it's a two-click operation. That alone makes it a worthwhile upgrade, IMO.

I agree 100%

I still think the mobile version could use some tweaks.

Specifically text sizing and there was a go-to-top-of-page button on the old mobile version that made it easier to return to the Home page. The mobile version could use a Home link like the desktop version.

Agree with eyeball.  Mobile version isn't that great.  Eyeball, when I posted that larger text I was on my laptop.  It's way too difficult to quote from the web on mobile.

Well, it's obvious the mobile version can support larger text without spreading off the sides so I fail to see why a larger default text size for the mobile wouldn't work. Otherwise I've come to like this mobile version more than the old one.  For me its really just a few tweaks.  The desktop version is fine and I have little to no issues with it at all.
