WestCoastRunner
I am a bit delighted and surprised at the women who are taking on feminist roles. From Megan Kelly to Gretchen Carlson I would say kudos to them. But I especially admire Kelly for standing up to Trump, his campaign manager, Gingrich and Ailes. Her calm demeanour has a way of flustering mysoginistic men and exposing them for who they are. I cant wait for her book to come out! http://www.vanityfair.com/news/2016/10/how-megyn-kelly-became-an-improbable-feminist-icon Another great article on how Fox News women took down Ailes. http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2016/09/how-fox-news-women-took-down-roger-ailes.html Edited November 1, 2016 by WestCoastRunner Add link
msj
If a conservative was a liberal who was mugged then, logically, these women are examples of conservatives who have been sexually harassed so maybe they are liberal? Not many Fox women would dare to go up against Fox. They are finding their voice.
bush_cheney2004
Fox women got a lot farther than CBC women did against Jian Ghomeshi and management.

Megyn Kelly is great (I'm actually watching the rebroadcast right now), and have watched her for years, and though she does have (at times) a calm disposition, what stymies male and female guests alike can be attributed to her legal background, the ingrained ability to ask pointed questions and cut through bullshit. She is the female version of Bill O'Reilly, with nearly equal ratings as the Factor, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if she replaced Bill when he eventually retires. Yes they did. However, I wonder how it would have turned out if the women had been the on air stars and Ghomeshi was in management.
The_Squid
This is not feminism.... this is them actually acting normal, for a change.
