Not sure if this is debatable or not, other than the idea that can instances of sexual indiscretion or adultery really undermines someone's skill politically.

I have often seen Weiner used as a political pundit. Other than the personal costs to him and his wife, should he and/or his wife suffer politically for this? I'm sure he will since his newest incident shows a complete lack of good judgement. Sexting while your son is in the frame? Dafuq is wrong with you!?!?!

Hillary Clinton’s closest aide, Huma Abedin, said Monday that she intended to separate from her husband, Anthony D. Weiner, the former congressman and New York City mayoral candidate, after it was reported that Mr. Weiner had exchanged suggestive images and messages with a woman while the couple’s young child was beside him.

The separation was announced after Mr. Weiner’s online exchanges with women had been a source of tension within Mrs. Clinton’s presidential campaign. Mr. Weiner resigned from Congress in 2011 after revelations that he had sent lewd images of himself to women on social media. The couple’s marital problems worsened after the release in May of a documentary about the scandal that engulfed Mr. Weiner’s campaign for mayor in 2013.

Ms. Abedin released a statement on Monday after the New York Post reported that Mr. Weiner had traded sexual messages with an unidentified woman last year while their 5-year-old son, Jordan, appeared to be asleep beside him.

“After long and painful consideration and work on my marriage, I have made the decision to separate from my husband,” she said in the statement. “Anthony and I remain devoted to doing what is best for our son, who is the light of our life. During this difficult time, I ask for respect for our privacy.

I read the transcript of their conversation. He said someone just got in bed with him and she asked who. He send her a picture of his son in bed with him and in the picture his penis is showing in his underwear. She tells him he did that on purpose.

Basically he used his kid as an element of surprise and as an excuse to send a picture of his penis.

However, there was nothing sexually exploitative about the boy to make it bordering child porn.

And again, this is a guy who not once or twice, but repeatedly has conducted inappropriately within his marriage. The son being in the pic is not exactly a big stretch after that.

Well it's nice to see a woman with standards and integrity. Huma Abedin is separating from the pervert, and in that she is head and shoulders above her boss, Hillary, who stayed with a pervert so she could ride his coattails.

First of all, you have no idea why Hillary actually decided to stick by Bill. Maybe she felt that she should engage in some forgiveness (i.e. the ]i]christian[/i] thing to do. You know, christianity... the thing that so many on the political right claim to have, even though they don't seem to show any of the supposed Jesus traits.) Or maybe she and Bill actually had some sort of "open marriage", which may not be everyone's thing, but its certainly not immoral if she knew about it/agreed to it ahead of time.

Secondly, I find it very strange to see the same people who condemn Hillary because Bill had an affair, ignore the fact that Trump himself had an affair with Marla Maples when he was still married to his first wife.
