Derek 2.0 Posted June 12, 2016 Report Posted June 12, 2016 Are you saying that Trump and the Republicans are going to become the de-facto defenders of LGBT? ... Among Republicans, one could suggest that.....say what you want about Trump, but he is not a social conservative......yet somehow how polls well among them. Quote
kimmy Posted June 12, 2016 Report Posted June 12, 2016 I knew what you meant, but the irony..... Yes, watching people on the far right declaring their newfound concern for the safety of gay people is extremely touching. And then there's Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick, who kicked off his Sunday morning by tweeting: "Do not be deceived: God will not be mocked. You reap what you sow. -Galatians 6:7" -k Quote (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ Friendly forum facilitator! ┬──┬◡ノ(° -°ノ)
sharkman Posted June 12, 2016 Report Posted June 12, 2016 So typical of you, Kimmy. Scouring the internet for what some right wing extremist will say so as to minimize the Muslim angle. Quote
August1991 Posted June 13, 2016 Author Report Posted June 13, 2016 (edited) So did this morning's Islamic mass-murder in Orlando just win the election for Trump? -k Did Obama or Hillary Rodham Clinton utter the words "radical Islam"? ==== It's not nationalism. It's "politically correct" speech that is the issue. Who is "America"? Edited June 13, 2016 by August1991 Quote

So you are perfectly fine with a right wing extremist being the governor of the second largest state? Edited June 13, 2016 by ?Impact Quote
sharkman Posted June 14, 2016 Report Posted June 14, 2016 So you're fine with gay slaughter as long as you can find some extremist right wing content to be outraged over? Quote
kimmy Posted June 15, 2016 Report Posted June 15, 2016 So you're fine with gay slaughter as long as you can find some extremist right wing content to be outraged over? If you feel that people have been going easy on the Muslims or excusing the massacre of gay people, I suspect that you haven't been reading the thread on the topic. Regarding your comment towards me, I would have hoped by now that after all these years you'd understand that I'm the last person to give Muslims a free pass, any more than I give Christians a free pass. -k Quote (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ Friendly forum facilitator! ┬──┬◡ノ(° -°ノ)
Argus Posted June 15, 2016 Report Posted June 15, 2016 So you are perfectly fine with a right wing extremist being the governor of the second largest state? It's Texas. If you have an IQ above room temperature you're disqualified from office. kimmy Posted June 16, 2016 Report Posted June 16, 2016 It's Texas. If you have an IQ above room temperature you're disqualified from office. There are a lot of smart people in Texas. However, the electoral system and gerrymandering make sure that the state government continues to reflect the will of rural rednecks. -k Quote (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ Friendly forum facilitator! ┬──┬◡ノ(° -°ノ)
