WestCoastRunner Posted June 10, 2015 Report Posted June 10, 2015 Honestly, I don't know why I'm starting this thread except to express my outrage that derogatory statements can be made against 'single mothers' without a means of women sticking up for themselves. I think that Shady and others should provide contributions to this thread to back the statements that we should tax single mothers because we don't want them. This is a horrific and sad statement that is allowed to be promoted on this forum. Quote I love to see a young girl go out and grab the world by the lapels. Life's a bitch. WestCoastRunner Posted June 10, 2015 Author Report Posted June 10, 2015 (edited) Should we tax others to help out single parents? Don't you mean, should we tax others to help out children? Clearly, the parents have reneged on their duties. Does that mean we should be biased against single moms? and dads for that matter. This is about the children. Not the parents. This is a horrific and sad statement that is allowed to be promoted on this forum. To be fair, Shady's inane comment was really his childish way to protest the idea of a carbon tax. It was a response to my comment that we should use financial levers to tax things we don't want like pollution and reduce the tax burden on things we do, like income. Though, the decision to attack single mothers was purely his own. Hey, at least the status update outed some real lowlife opinions..so happy sparring. He deserves to be torn a new one. Freddy Posted June 10, 2015 Report Posted June 10, 2015 We are taxing everyone including dual parents to help out single parents. And I am talking about it. How is that any better then taxing single parents to help out everyone else? I've made some really good decisions for myself. Why should I be taxed for making good decisions, to help out people who made bad ones? I could have been drinking all night partying like a animal. I bet I would have enjoyed it, But I made the responsible decision to go to bed and show up at work. Why am I being taxed more on my ability to make good decisions? Quote
WestCoastRunner Posted June 10, 2015 Author Report Posted June 10, 2015 What is disturbing to me is that Shady has suggested that single mothers are not wanted and therefore should be taxed.
