BC_chick Posted May 29, 2015 Report Posted May 29, 2015 Whenever I try quoting using IE, nothing happens, I'm directed to the box but there is no quote. However, this doesn't happen when I use Firefox - I actually see the quote in the message box. What am I doing wrong in IE? Moonlight Graham Posted May 29, 2015 Report Posted May 29, 2015 You're doing nothing wrong. The 3rd-party software this forum uses doesn't work well anymore with IE, I had the same issues. Use Firefox if you want a good open-source browser. Use Google Chrome if you want all of your personal information and browsing habits data-mined and sold to the highest bidder by a publicly traded company, like any evil Google product. Internet Explorer has been outdated for a number of years now and has a lot of compatibility issues. Quote
BC_chick Posted May 29, 2015 Author Report Posted May 29, 2015 Good one, eyeball. ) CC, I'm inclined to agree with MG, I prefer Firefox to Chrome. I just bought a new computer though and I was using IE since the computer is preloaded with it. I wondered if I'm doing something wrong on the site, but good to know it's just software incompatibility. Thanks guys. cybercoma Posted May 29, 2015 Report Posted May 29, 2015 Firefox would be good too, but I find it gets bogged down pretty quickly. Quote

How evil is it really? I understand they've been telling our governments to go screw themselves, for the moment at least, surely that counts for something. Whoever is buying my data must be getting squat for their money. I rarely see any ads. I report the very odd one I receive see as spam and never respond to them. I only very rarely ever buy anything online. I actually live a very spam free existence - I also get virtually nothing in my Canada Post box. WestCoastRunner Posted May 30, 2015 Report Posted May 30, 2015 (edited) Has anyone tried Spartan or opera? I'm also having to click 'next' numerous times to get to the end of a thread on my iPhone.
