Conservatives are 13% back from their 2011 finish, the NDP 5% above. Quebec now shows 41% NDP and this is the second poll in a row to report a substantial NDP lead in BC. That really says it all there now doesn't it? And ya I have to agree that Maestro walking into a police van in shackles is going to seriously hurt the conservatives. Wouldn't be surprised if the conservatives will be flirting with the 23-25% range in a few weeks after the latest bad news starts to sink into voters. I agree with Vancouver King that the Maestro case/video walking in shackles will be a bigger obstacle to overcome. Especially in central eastern rural southern Ontario! Could see the conservatives losing a lot of seats in southern Ontario! But who knows? If the media are already questioning the legality of the conservatives latest adds, it could snowball to the point that the conservatives are constantly on their heels moving lower and lower in the polls? They are taking very great risks, sign of desperation. All looks very bad to voters! WWWTT Quote Maple Leaf Web is now worth $720.00! Down over $1,500 in less than one year! Derek 2.0 Posted June 28, 2015 Report Posted June 28, 2015 So you'd be okay with the National Socialists taking power for a while to see what happened? National Socialists? That's absurd, just a chum of Tony Accurso: Mulcair: Just a simple public servant blessed with many friends Quote

But in the back of your head you know if the youth in this country ever get mobilized to vote, it won't be for Harper. It happened in Alberta, it will happen Federally. It's going to take a big screw up on Muclairs part to change anything. When you can get the Middle Age, Youth, Union, Quebec and Liberal vote after Trudeaus screw up in supporting c-51 you've got the election in the bag. Don't forget that there are more people that vote left in this country then vote right, when they have a reason to come out and vote and align their vote on a single left-aligned party, even a single powerful right-aligned party doesn't stand a chance. On Guard for Thee Posted June 28, 2015 Report Posted June 28, 2015 Must be quite a headache Harper has lately...he has Del Mastro being led away in chains, the Duffy trial ongoing, Wallin and Brazeau out there on the horizon, C51 got raed through but will likely be torn apart by the SCC, and Khadr is about to be a free man and the polls are tanking. I have zero problem sleeping ......ask yourself this though, why has the Tory's campaign machine (likewise the Liberals) largely left Mulcair and the NDP alone? Surely if the Conservatives (and Liberals) truly "feared" the NDP, they'd be slinging the mud.......but they're not........the NDP (and yourself) will learn the difference between campaigning to win popularity polls (like Justin did since wining the Liberal leadership) and campaigning to win elections.......... He will be running for that closet come election time, though I'm sure he's comfortable with that closet now. The youth are energized, they really don't like Harper. Look around you, it's the youth leading this NDP charge. It was in Alberta and it will be federally. I work with many people under 30 from across the country, it's pretty unanimous that they don't like Harper and will be doing something about it. It was them that told me to make sure I am registered on elections Canada website because of harpers election changes. I wasn't, even though I've voted in the last elections. They're pissed. It's leaders like Harper that mobilize the youth. Harper will be hiding in that closet by the time the election is over. I've never heard more people under 30 more interested in politics in my life, talking about it every day. It's a strange thing but it's good. They're listening and they don't like what they're hearing. All the money in the world won't help Harper. Whats funny is the attack ads don't sit well with young Canadians. They hate them, the like the legalization of marijuana and they aren't excited about wars. Harpers last day is booked for October. Quote “Be like water making its way through cracks. Right, and then will you tell us why before joining the NDP, Mulcair sought a cabinet post with the Conservative Government.......which was ultimately rejected by the Conservative Party of Canada? I'm sure all such (recorded) conversations between Mulcair and the Conservative Party will be quite interesting to gleam, but it would be most surprising if such private talks were made public during a Federal election.....
