Texas has more than four times the wind power as the failed projects in Ontario. It is also the home for hosting this forum.

Do you just have a worm that looks for any obscure american reference so you can come troll it? Are you some sort of forum vampire that requires invitation before entry?

No....the stereotypical 'murican references are so obvious and abundant here that no such bot is required. Pointing at Texas or Texans in an Ontariowe renewables discussion is like throwing a hanging curve ball that begs to be crushed out of the park.

I'm not the Liberal cheer squad. Your distraction discussions although correct have no bearing on the original topic.....the methodology of adding renewable power to the grid.

Sorry, but I don't think that is the original topic. The original topic is how much the Liberals screwed up Ontario's energy system in its brainless quest for green power. The results of which is Ontario now has just about the highest power costs in North America. Not only is this a huge challenge to poor people but it is hitting the economy.

The entire system isn't screwed up from the quest for green energy, it's a bump compared to other energy brainwaves.....its never been patched since the deregulation and plant leasing follies of 99/00. 15 years of garbage piled on.

I knew it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's still all the fault of Mike Harris. bahahahahahahahaha

And you say your not a Liberal cheer squad.

You should run for a seat unless your a quadriplegic but they will still offer you a job just promise not to record the conversation.

Being serious. I do agree the hydro system was a mess in Ontario ignored for years by all three parties.

Building the gas plants alone would have saved millions and building the wind turbines and solar power on crown land would have been a cheaper route. Not saying I agree with it but it would have saved a ton of money in the long run. Sure this way they can push the costs to the owners of the panels or turbines but the people of Ontario would not have to pay another level. It would cut the middle man but Liberals being Liberals would have just screwed it up so skip that idea

The total system was a George Smitherman special. If anybody failed upwards it was him.

But I do agree with you about the Liberals piling on 15 years of garbage

You got me....McGuinty bagman. ;)

Why do successive gov'ts not repeal mistakes of past (gun registry excluded). Are they afraid to have no fall guy?

Your analysis is astute. Don't be efficient or effective.....be governmental.

Of all the things we disagree on it is a sad state of affairs that we agree on this.

Wish it was better.
