eyeball Posted November 28, 2014 Report Posted November 28, 2014 Actually the preference flows from our Constitution which probably explains the deity perched like a gargoyle at the top of it. Quote I said now watch what you say they'll be calling you a radical, a liberal, oh fanatical criminal
bush_cheney2004 Posted November 28, 2014 Report Posted November 28, 2014 Whatever....it is plain to see that "Catholic Sharia" is very important and constitutionally protected. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
On Guard for Thee Posted November 29, 2014 Report Posted November 29, 2014 Kind of like "In God we Trust" or is it Tryst? Quote
overthere Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 I'm surprised that the Pope hates in vitro fertilization. It often results in multiple births, twins triplets. That mean the mother is delivering extra souls for indoctrination. Is that not a good thing for the Church? Teachers have fat benefit plans. Would a teacher automatically be fired by a Catholic board if she bought birth control pills through the benefit plan? Quote Science too hard for you? Try religion!
guyser Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 Would a teacher automatically be fired by a Catholic board if she bought birth control pills through the benefit plan?I dont think any employer would be able to see any of the prescription purchases. It is a health thing so no reason for them to see any of it apart from amounts paid on the whole. Quote

Everything on a health care plan paid for by an employer has been negotiated and specifically approved beforehand by the employer with the service provider/administrator(like Blue Cross). Do you know if Catholic boards approve birth control? I know that public school boards do. Quote Science too hard for you? Try religion!

The bigger the company they more likely to have 2 levels or more of coverage. Do you know if Catholic boards approve birth control? I know that public school boards do. Some certainly do. Ottawa CSB does and I recall maybe 5 or 6 others do. Quote
dre Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 Descrimination isnt illegal in many cases. But if youre going to fire someone for common and personal medical/reproductive decisions you shouldnt be getting a dime in public money and you should pay the same taxes as any other business. Quote I question things because I am human. And call no one my father who's no closer than a stranger
