Actually, no, that's not the way it works.

Here is how it works.

They are men, therefore they are guilty vicious rapists every one.

The truth is not sought or relevant.

I cannot believe that Harper is not at fault here.

Science too hard for you? Try religion!

They've been bounced from the party. They're not innocent.

Rush to judgement, lack of due process, star chamber trial, guilty by gender.... all acceptable and the source of delight to some....

The fascists always reveal themselves.

How do you know that?

Both of them maintain their innocence but both left the caucus and then the party ... "voluntarily" ... indicating substantial pressure from the party - leave or we'll throw you out.

OTTAWA One of the Liberals at the centre of a harassment probe has decided to bow out as an MP amid reports he will soon be thrown out of caucus permanently.

Massimo Pacetti (Saint-LéonardSaint-Michel) said Wednesday that he maintains his innocence in the face of misconduct allegations but decided not to run in the fall election.

...

The other Liberal at the centre of the investigation said Wednesday hes astounded he could be permanently booted from caucus even before seeing the report into his alleged misbehaviour.

Scott Andrews pointed to how he was treated by members of the Liberal caucus - those who leaked information - when he talked about not trying to re-join the Liberal caucus.

Scott never said what was in the report, besides saying he accepted it, and Trudeau was to afraid to speak on the matter. There may not have been wrongdoing. If there was wrongdoing why wouldn't Trudeau just say he's not welcomed back in his caucus?

I'm sure he did ... and gave him the chance to leave voluntarily.

Fundamental and basic procedures required for what used to be referred to as natural justice were most certainly not followed. There was presumption of guilt until proven innocent, and Trudeau without obtaining all the evidence in the interest of political appearance cut his potential scandal off quick.

Its politics. Its all about preventing a scandal and image that could be used against all Liberals and therefore image control sacrificing the two mp's true.

Its also about however two moronic, juvenile mp's. While the method of handling the matter was political and compromised, these two jackasses don't need anyone's sympathy either.

I can understand why the two female mp's kept the matter quiet as well.

Bottom line is, don't expect privacy if you are an mp as to your behaviour. You bet its a higher standard of behaviour expected of you. You don't like that, don't run for public office.

He couldn't say that publicly? We had a minister quit in Newfoundland and Labrador last year due to a scandal and the premier had no issue saying afterwards that had he not resigned he would have been fired. Just more evidence that Trudeau has few leadership skills.
