Hey Justin, send a message of goodbye as soon as possible to Bibi and declare that Canada has nothing more to do with Israel!

Fat chance...Canada would have to settle oodles of unsettled land and resource claims first. Israel can rest easy.

Economics trumps Virtue.

The Palestinian leadership is appealing to a third party UN group to monitor the way that Israel is treating the Palestinians:

Of course, all who care about human rights cry out at the brutality inflicted on the Palestinian people. Just look at the horror!

On September 30, the Palestinian flag was finally hoisted at the United Nations in New York. Nation by nation, the Palestinians are being recognized as a viable entity being subjugated by Israel. The latest nation to recognize Palestine is Greece.:

Last week, the Greek parliament's foreign affairs committee unanimously approved a motion to recognise Palestine.

It is about time. It is also about time that Canada did the same and begin to wash its hands of the atrocities being perpetrated by Israel on the Palestinians.

One international basket case recognizing a would-be international basket case. Oh joy.

May I then assume that you consider 82% of the population of the world to be members of international basket case nations?

When marching in a parade, it is assumed that when a small minority of the participants are not walking in step with the majority then it is the minority who are "out of step".

The majority is very frequently wrong on a great many issues. That said, Palestine should definitely be its own state and should be recognized as such. But the heaps of outrage poured on Israel for every Palestinian life lost in the decades long conflict while far far worse things go largely ignored in neighboring countries gets tiresome for people that have a balanced outlook.

Who will fill the baskets by your logic?
