BubberMiley
I thought this was pretty funny. Somehow I knew Manitoba would be the nerdy one. http://thoughtcatalog.com/alexandra-pope/2014/06/10-canadian-provinces-and-what-they-would-be-like-as-high-school-kids/
AngusThermopyle
Ontario would be the mentally challenged one who keeps doing the same stupid shit over and over then wonders why it never works.
overthere
Quebec is the kid who steals stuff from everybodys locker and then plays the race card when caught.

BubberMiley
Quebec is the province that rescues ducklings on the side of the road, causing Nova Scotia to crash into its parked car in the middle of the highway.
August1991
A country is not high school. Canada is rocks and trees, and some 35 million individuals living in a federal state with sovereign provincial governments. Alberta is not a "person". And Quebec is not a "student". August1991
Evidently not .Me? Given the situation in Iraq, and before it Lebanon in 1975, we Canadians should be thankful that our history has (more or less) not descended into "sectarian" violence. IME, English-Canadians - particularly those in Western Canada - are oblivious to the success of Canada as a society, and they wrongly assume it. ---- In the next few weeks and months, you will see Leftist Americans (Team A) blame Bush Jnr (Team for the debacle in Iraq. And you will see Right wing Americans (Team blame Obama (Team A) for the debacle. As if Iraq's (or Canada's) divides had anything to do with America. Here's my message to Americans, and other foreigners: We Canadians are divided, but Americans have never, ever exploited this sectarian divide. (The closest was when Clinton helped Chretien by giving a speech, and Carter allowed Trudeau Snr to speak to Congress.) Translation: he still hates Alberta and thinks everybody there is an uncultured moron. All I can do is reinforce the bigoty, it keeps him where he belongs. left_alberta
Interesting how the characterization of BC basically extrapolates from the lower mainland and Vancouver areas, as opposed to those parts of the province which have put either Socred or Socredish governments into power every election save three since 1952.
