"Never quite knew what to make of him as a goal tender but a class act and always a gentleman." His public persona was always as a funny and smart guy, and a team player always. As a goalie, his accomplishments were many: two world championships, a world cup, two Olympic golds and a few NHL all star appearnaces. He never won a Cup, but that was not his fault. The two times the Nucks went deep in the playoffs, they were beaten by Hawks/Bruins that were clearly better teams. Mighty AC Posted March 18, 2014 Report Share Posted March 18, 2014 The Canucks are rebuilding and they did manage to free up some cap room. I was able to watch Bobby Lu in net against the Bruins last week in Florida. He was the player of the game for the first two periods.
