As an interested party, I'd like to know more than the general knowledge of parliament and such.

Any good books or websites that detail such topics?

Well, Bambino knows what he does because he too once read it somewhere, likely in a similar book the OP is looking for.

Bingo.

It's not that I assume bambino is always right. It's that he knows more than I do on the particular subject, and so he's my MLW go-to guy. If an issue is partisan, his opinion reduces in value to that of....well, my own, I guess.

I would wager money that bambino knows more about the structure and function of our system of governance than anyone on this forum or most any other forum. But he's not a book, so I guess the point is moot.

Gb's opinions are just that, I was referring of course to his kn oelwdge of the system. If the new poster wants, he is the go to person around here.

Of course a book would do.....but I somehow doubt the intention is to read some weighty tome the Westminister Parl System

But I could be wrong.
