PIK Posted September 9, 2013 Report Posted September 9, 2013 And it shows the the difference between harper and trudeau. Harper is going to make alot of money off this and it all goes to military families charities, where trudeau takes money for charities. Shows that the libs are all about entitlements, somethings never change. http://news.nationalpost.com/2013/09/04/a-great-game-title-and-cover-of-stephen-harpers-hockey-book-revealed/ Im a particular student of the early years; the formation of the modern sport in the 1870s through to the First World War is really my specialty, Mr. Harper told interviewer John Tory on Torontos Newstalk 1010 in 2012. Compared to the sleek, lucrative world of modern professional hockey, the era is uniquely rugged and unpredictable. A century ago, rinks could melt, and by half time the blades screwed to the players shoes could be sinking in mud, reads promotional material for the book. The period also spawned stories dripping in Canadiana, such as the 1905 Stanley Cup finals in which the Yukons Dawson City Nuggets travelled to Ottawa by dog sled, bicycle, paddlewheeler and train, only to be roundly defeated in one of the most lopsided series in Stanley Cup history. The_Squid Posted September 9, 2013 Report Posted September 9, 2013 He has enough free time to write a book? Interesting.... and very telling about how seriously he takes being the PM. Quote
Smallc Posted September 9, 2013 Report Posted September 9, 2013 Funny how everything can be turned around like that. Quote

At 15 minutes a day for many years. But again it shows a huge difference between harper and the greedy liberal trudeau. Maybe trudeau will come out with a book on how to roll the perfect joint. cybercoma Posted September 9, 2013 Report Posted September 9, 2013 PIK, your constant Trudeau-trolling is annoying as hell and I don't even particularly like Trudeau. Quote

AltaRick Posted September 11, 2013 Report Posted September 11, 2013 Hockey is a fitting subject for Harper. A pseudo sport like pro-wrestling where the rules are secondary to the game. Quote
