GostHacked Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012 Your point? I’m speaking to Israel versus an Islamic State, be it Palestine/Gaza/West Bank or any other one……….As to Canada’s interests, I’ll ask the inverse, how will our interests in the region be strengthened by statehood? Simply put, all this will do is further destabilize the region. This could actually stabilize the region because Palestine would have statehood and they then have to play within a completely different rule set. Quote
GostHacked Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012 Since Canada is taking this side, I predict even more polarization among the players involved in this situation. Canada has clearly come out on one side of this conflict. We are no longer unbiased and a neutral player in this crisis. The battle lines have been drawn. Quote

GostHacked Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012 Which rule-set does Hamas plan on using? Shhh, grown ups are talking. Quote
DogOnPorch Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012 Shhh, grown ups are talking. Right...so...which rule-set does Hamas plan on using again? Quote Nothing cracks a turtle like Leon Uris.
punked Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012 Right...so...which rule-set does Hamas plan on using again? The ones where violent attacks on civilians can be taken to the ICC and then the leaders of such attacks can be tired on the world stage and no can stop it from happening. THATS SET OF RULES! Read a book. Seriously wars can be declared and lots of other things. Quote

punked Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012 Oh...is Gaza getting it's 'freedom', too? What are you talking about? Gaza is part of the resolution yes. All parts of Pre war Palestine are united in the resolution. No wonder so many Conservatives are with Harper most of you don't even understand what is going on. Quote
GostHacked Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012 Oh...is Gaza getting it's 'freedom', too? No they need to take their own freedom. I meant it worked for the Jews right? Quote
DogOnPorch Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012 No they need to take their own freedom. I meant it worked for the Jews right? So...I ask again...adults...what rule-set is Hamas going to be using? Quote Nothing cracks a turtle like Leon Uris.
GostHacked Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012 So...I ask again...adults...what rule-set is Hamas going to be using? Go sit down. You obviously have no intention of genuine discussion here, so why bother posting? Quote
punked Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012 So...I ask again...adults...what rule-set is Hamas going to be using? The same sets of rules every other STATE! But you don't give them statehood you can not apply those rules. Quote
DogOnPorch Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012 Go sit down. You obviously have no intention of genuine discussion here, so why bother posting? Afraid to speak for Hamas, are you? Well, I don't blame you. Disagree with them and you'll end up as a streak on the pavement. Quote Nothing cracks a turtle like Leon Uris.
DogOnPorch Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012 The same sets of rules every other STATE! But you don't give them statehood you can not apply those rules. I'm confused here. So is Hamas getting their own state? I think 'no' is the answer to that question. So...I ask again...what rule-set is Hamas going to be using? GH brought up 'rule-sets'...not me. So chill. Nope Hamas has committed to wanted the rules to apply to them as Israel. Which means going into Gaza and dragging their leaders in front of the ICC if they engage in acts against the convention. You don't know what you are talking about. I know you want me to be scared of some boogey man but I am not. Let the rules apply to all parties, give them statehood so the international community can help bring peace to the region. Quote

NO the Palestine is made up of more then just Hamas only an idiot who doesn't know anything about the region would thinks this. While Hamas is the government in Gaza Palestine is made up of several regions the West Bank has a very moderate government and they are the ones advancing this motion. Although I promise you keep spitting in the moderates faces and Hamas will be the ones governing the whole region soon. Quote

My point is that while the Nathan Hale and John Adams action is occurring in the WB, what's the "rule-set" regarding Hamas? None of you seem to want to venture into that territory. That's fine...I'm sure Hamas will be on their best behaviour...as always. http://mepeace.org/video/hamas-members-execute-fatah Quote Nothing cracks a turtle like Leon Uris.

YOU CAN'T DO THAT UNTIL YOU GIVE THEM THE RIGHTS you want to deprive them of. There is no problem here the solution to your the "problem" you offer is to the opposite of what you are for. So what is your solution because it is easy to be against every solution and never have your own. That means you favor the status quo.
