Sleipnir
i'll guess there will be no changes... More like who lost or gained votes, who has gained the upper-hand since the last election, etc. I'm not referring to the exchange of seats. wyly
I'm only curious to see if the progressives of calgary center back the number two candiate to oust the cpc from the seat...I don't have any hope that will happen but I'd love to see it... punked
Then what is? Its nothing. Remember when Kevin Lamoureux won in Manitoba taking a NDP seat right before the 2011 election? What did that mean for the Liberals? Well it meant they were about to fall to the third party in the house of commons. Sorry these bi-elections are fun but meaningless. login
I think this would be far more a judgement if it was Stephen Harper's seat. The thing is, if enough of these by elections were to knock conservatives out of their seats it could convert the majority to a minority... but that is not likely. Guest
The Greens and the NDP going down to the wire in Victoria. If the Greens win, do you think they'll try and do something about the sewage?
Sleipnir
The Greens and the NDP going down to the wire in Victoria. If the Greens win, do you think they'll try and do something about the sewage? As I type this, 39% of the polls been reported - the Greens could actually win Victoria. It's now 7157 to 7156. Meanwhile in Calgary, the Conservative leads the Liberal by 1300 votes. That's not exactly a blow-out... you have to wonder how close that would have been if Justin Trudeau's video hadn't shown up last week. -k
cybercoma
Not a good night for the NDP. They need to get their act together, as I've been saying lately.

cybercoma
I'm predicting a Green win for Victoria, that's a shocker. I don't think they'll win. Regardless, it was supposed to be a solid NDP victory. It's not.

If the Greens win, do you think they'll try and do something about the sewage? 2 MPs in Ottawa are going to do something about sewage in Victoria? Do you have any comprehension about how government works?
