You are correct in stating that Broken Social Scene's You Forget it in People is a great indie rock album. It is considered to be one of the best indie rock albums of the 2000s. The album is known for its eclectic mix of genres, its lush instrumentation, and its catchy melodies.

Today's selection is R.E.M. - Leave. This is from their best album IMO, New Adventures in Hi-Fi

today's selection is from a Canadian punk rock band, The Flatliners. Maybe not the most technically proficient.. they bring energy and a bit of irreverent humor.

I’m still not over this album. Bowie’s weirdness gave us all a bit more confidence about ourselves way back when. What is moonage anyway? The orchestration is just brilliant here - like the Beatles, so many surprises.

Its been my obsession since age 7 (1984 to be exact). Been jamming out since I first watched MTV and was simply entranced. The first song that I had to find out who it was.. was Pink Floyd - Learning to Fly. Its about time that I channel this into something productive and possibly lucrative.
