I was reading in the dentist's office about a patient in a vegetative state responding to testing but couldn’t remember the name of the Canadian doctor. Now I see some articles about it.

IMO this gives a whole different perspective to the discussion on when to pull the plug.

I remember reading years ago about some researchers that induced hypothermia in patients that lapsed into a Coma after a heart attack………I don’t know the rate of success, but it is interesting.

Its more like reflex to external stimuli, not a conscious responsive apprehension.

IMO it means we should be very careful about pulling the plug, that maybe there is hope. The CBC did a piece on this but I missed it so it is getting more attention.
