Michael Hardner
I'm going to start a new topic right now on the subject. Then you will have your answer. Unlike the left, I answer questions directly. Well, it took you two days but sure... you found something that could conceivably, remotely, possibly be perceived by someone to mean something that it doesn't. But you did provide a link, and for that I commend you.
Mr.Canada
Even when I have facts to back up my statements it isn't good enough. The socialists will never admit when I'm right as they can never admit their own short comings and certainly never to the enemy. Instead of attacking the facts they instead attack the provider of the facts. This is straight out of the communist manifesto fellas so we must be on guard for this type of hypocrisy and be able to call it down without a moments notice before these shouts become accepted as fact. Michael Hardner
Even when I have facts to back up my statements it isn't good enough. That is correct. You need facts as a prerequisite to us having a discussion about facts. At that point, we can discuss the facts. Take, for example, the climate change discussion. People on both sides provide facts, and they are discussed. Some are accepted and some are not. Providing evidence is the basic requirement, though, so congratulations - you are now making arguments at a higher level. The socialists will never admit when I'm right as they can never admit their own short comings and certainly never to the enemy. Not true. Let's take a poster who is more right of centre than many - and I would dare say most. Kraychik was asked by me to provide some kind of policy suggestion that would address his concern about immigrants of a certain religion. I was surprised that his suggestion of screening questions was practical and IMO could be effective in some cases, so he convinced me. Instead of attacking the facts they instead attack the provider of the facts. Let's take this recent example. There were no facts for 2 days after your post. After, presumably, 2 days of Googling and watching YouTube videos you found a video of some guy asking a general question of some other guy. This was your evidence. You posted it, and some posters kicked your evidence to the curb, including a right-of-centre poster. You made an argument, but it doesn't look like anybody bought it. It has nothing to with attacking you personally. This is straight out of the communist manifesto fellas so we must be on guard for this type of hypocrisy and be able to call it down without a moments notice before these shouts become accepted as fact. What types of hypocrisy ? I think I have been pretty gracious in helping you along here and you haven't even thanked me.
Black Dog
I want to know if this sexual predator is from an Islamic country. In Islamic countries women are not viewed as equal. In Islamic countries a mans word is worth that of two women. Yet the left defends these people. They must laugh their asses off at you. In Islamic countries women are not allowed to drive a car, not allowed to appear in public with a mean who is not related to them, not even in a taxi. Yet the left in defends these people. Please provide a citation of someone who could be identified as a member of "the left" defending any of the misogynist practices you are reeling off here. In Islamic countries women who are raped and go to authorities are stoned to death themselves for adultery. Central Asia is becoming more and more fanatical due to the influx of Jihadi's. Keep your head in the sand and ignore reality. So, is this sexual predator from a country like that or was he born and raised in Canada? If his family was indeed from a country like that it is certainly relevant. Why? Why is it anymore relevant than if he was born and raised here? In case you haven't noticed, we don't exactly have a great handle on the whole sexual violence thing here. It seems to be you're more interested in scapegoating than addressing the thorny reality for women in our society.
