Topaz Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 One item the Parl. Sec. said yesterday, was even though corporate taxes were low, the government's corporate revenues was up. So, if this is true, then if they reduced personal taxes, would the government revenues on personal tax be up? How is that possible? Quote

Easy as that. Quote
Tilter Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 (edited) Harper the divine leader of Canada, Single handedly reached into every job sector. And so it was. His divine power did open up 80,000 positions in his most hated of provinces. Blessed be the gracious leader who loves all, even those who dislike him. No, it wasn't Harper who did this, it was the miraculous election of an NDP leader from PQ. The country was so thankful that that boring, everlasting episode in the futile existence of the party, that they created 30,000 jobs in the hopes that the publicists would find honest work rather than re-engaging & go to work at creating a new leader for the hopeless financially strapped Libs. WWWTT Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 This is a very odd thread. First off the opening to the thread.Bad news for Harper haters.Hate is a very strong word and I'm going to assume that most people here do not even know Harper so how can you hate someone that you do not even know? Its true that I do not like the policies of the conservatives but to say that you hate someone because you disagree with them I believe is inappropriate. The next thing would be that I believe that this is a very crucial time to be observing polls. If the job numbers start reflecting to show an increase in conservative poll numbers then maybe the NDP will take notice. However if the conservatives continue to stagnate then it will be the conservatives that will be having the sleepless nights As a side note I would add that this is just another example(in a freekin huge list)of conservative hypocrocy! Some project the belief/double standard that Canadians will not care about minor scandals but will come rushing back because of minor good news. WWWTT Quote Maple Leaf Web is now worth $720.00! Down over $1,500 in less than one year! Total fail of the moderation on this site! That reminds me, never ask Greg to be a business partner! NEVER!
Boges Posted April 6, 2012 Author Report Posted April 6, 2012 minor good news. Good job numbers are "minor" The economy trumps all. If the CPC balances the budget and unemployment is down no one is going to care about F-35's or Robocalls in Guelph. Had the figures showed Canada lost 80,000 jobs who would you be blaming. I personally don't attribute these things to governments, but many do. BTW the NDP's new leader making his first ad in French says a lot about where his priorities lie. Quote

Liberals said that for many many years. Where are they now? They balanced budgets and had growth this government could only dream of. Where are they now? What a silly statement. Quote

I don't think the CPC has seen a scandal that can compare to that at this point. But more importantly the Alliance and PC's merged. Initially people leery of Stephen Harper but he's increased his support in each subsequent election. Quote
