Dalton McGuinty is a Liar!

Recommended Posts

Liberal support is insanely rising. They have been attracting the support of the moderate right with all of this talk of cuts.

They polled at close the 40% in the last nanos poll, higher than the election.

I'm not saying that the PC's had the best platform. But, when you know a government is incompetent, you don't vote them back in. You take a risk on someone else. For some reason, we'd rather stick with known incompetence... than unknown risk.

That Nanos poll was opposite from the Forum Research poll that was released only a few days earlier.

This OLG plan is rather unpopular. Even people in Toronto aren't too happy that a Casino might be thrust upon them. People up in Orillia stand to lose from that.

What McDalton is clearly doing is punishing those who didn't vote for him and rewarding those that did.

Lying is just another term for pragmatism in your eyes?

I'd say its a form of pragmatism for most politicians. The public pretty much always goes along with it, as a result they get what they deserve.

Can you see an honest politician getting elected to be Premier or Prime Minister?

Most of it is health spending.

The only way to remove the deficit is to cut the health budget by an equal amount, it is a quick fix.

People lived before all these health care services existed.

My gosh people die. Hospitals cost too much. A whole lot of health programs need to be scaled back, services privatized for fees, and a self funding health insurance plan introduced.

No other solution can solve the problem. The debt alone is 10 billion of the 18 billion deficit.

So will Horwarth be Mcguintys king maker or the downfall of his government?

Anything can happen

Mcguinty could give her the concessions she wants

NDP and Tories could form a coalition government

Mcguinty could lure an NDP or liberal onto his side so that he has a majority

There could be an election ..

The Tories and NDP I don't think are ready for another election though

Wouldn't be shocked to see another Liberal minority

Tories image have been hurt recently with the roboscandal, the lying of the F35s, with rob ford's terrible meltdowns in toronto, Hudak being unelectable because he's got less charm than a plant

Maybe the NDP will become the opposition? I'd be cool with that, I'd be cool with them beating the liberals to form the government too

Wow this post shows you have absolutely no clue.

F35 issue was on the table a year ago and didn't hurt the federal Tories. No polls have shown the robocall scandal has hurt the Federal Tories.

But we're talking about the Provincial Tories. You do know that even though the Liberals almost got a majority regarding seat count they only had a 2 percentage point lead on the Tories in the October election. FPTP FTW.

Let's talk about the Provincial Liberals. ORNGE, an very unpopular OLG plan, the fact that yesterday he said he'd legislate a pay freeze on public service unions.

McDalton will prove to be very unpopular. Especially considering he really didn't cut a whole lot out of the budget yesterday.

That being said I would be surprised if the government falls over this budget. It's actually a rather limp-wristed budget. Other than the OLG plan which is an embarrassment to the government there really isn't much here to get worked up over.

I think a better time to make this government fall is next year.
