The guy from leadnow.ca was boasting that the movement is non-partisan and represents all political views, and welcomes supporters from all parties. After letting him go on, the interviewer turned the table on him by reading directly from their website which vilifies the Conservatives. Dead silence. Then the leadnow.ca spokesman tried to spin his tale some more. Too late, you were exposed. Of course it's a left wing operation with an agenda, that is a no brainer I still don't understand why he is so upset...the Conservatives have agendas of their own and they are a lot more offensive than this Because they were saying it wasn't left-wing and didn't have an agenda. The number of calls submitted before this story broke and done within 30 days of the Federal Election are going to prime investigation and are the prime investigation.. One thing that is VERY VERY VERY interesting is that the Conservatives and their Supporters DO NOT WANT any investigation and downplay what happened. I find that a very strange position to take. Why would Conservative Supporters and the Conservative Party not want to investigate and help the investigation of who was behind impersonating Elections Canada... I believe REPORTER MP PETER KENT fingered the National Conservative Operative representing Guelph as the culprit. Of course the indentified person denies this... Just how did the Reporters end up at this persons doorstep and why would those in the Conservative party through this person under the bus? Quote

Unfortunately, too many Conservative supporters interpret a public inquiry as a direct challenge to Harper Conservative actions, perceived or real, during the 2011 elections. It was the media who fingered the NDP (Ottawa Citizen) being behind vickieleaks, they were wrong. You don't know the guy was thrown under a bus, neither do you know if he is guilty. So far - no evidence, but the websites generating robo complaints are simply muddying the waters and making it difficult for E.C. to do their job. Likely the intent, because if there's no evidence to be found, they can point to their robot complaints and say - look tousands and tousands by gar. Not so, E.C. actually said "more than 31,000 contacts have been initiated with Elections Canada by Canadians." Thirty-one thousand contacts. Not 31,000 complaints, there's a big difference. It also means form letters sent in by Liberals and NDPers complaining, but presumably it will increase with the number of programmed robo calls from those two sites. E.C. has set up an online form to fill out, that would be the way to go, not automatically generated complaints from biased sites.
