Topaz Posted November 17, 2011 Report Posted November 17, 2011 A US plan to invade Syria by Turkey, Jordon and Israel may well be on its way. The following article reports even the Arab League could have 30-50 military soldiers involved along with sanctions like Canada has announced, along with a warning for Canadians to get out of Syria. Now question is, will US and Canadians troops being involved under NATO? http://www.presstv.ir/detail/210597.html Quote

olp1fan Posted November 17, 2011 Report Posted November 17, 2011 I think a Chinese, Russia, India and Arab League intervention is more possible than a NATO mission Quote

Topaz Posted November 17, 2011 Author Report Posted November 17, 2011 Here's a thought, why don't we wait and see what really happens. I found the article and posted, if you don't believe that's ok, too. Quote
Moonlight Graham Posted November 18, 2011 Report Posted November 18, 2011 (edited) So Syrian sources talk reveal this plan, and the article is published on a website controlled by the Iranian government? This article has ZERO credibility. New link please. Also, while I imagine the US probably has some kind of military plans for invading Syria (as they do for just about any country), I very much doubt they would get involved in a military mission. What's in it for them? Syria doesn't produce much oil so that's out. The US & NATO doesn't give a rats ass about the Syrians getting slaughtered, at least not enough to risk their own lives and resources to save them...even if a million civilians were slaughtered by the gov. See: Rwanda and Sudan and the DRC area. This article has ZERO credibility. I don't put much faith in our media either. Also, while I imagine the US probably has some kind of military plans for invading Syria (as they do for just about any country), I very much doubt they would get involved in a military mission. What's in it for them? Syria doesn't produce much oil so that's out. No resources, no war. Yup people gave a shit when Gadhafi was 'killing' people', but don't give a shit when the same thing is happening in Syria. Why is that? Seems really odd. The US & NATO doesn't give a rats ass about the Syrians getting slaughtered, at least not enough to risk their own lives and resources to save them...even if a million civilians were slaughtered by the gov.
