CPCFTW Posted September 14, 2011 Report Posted September 14, 2011 What a bone-headed strawman. Id shoot myself in the face if I posted that. Poor guy. You might want to get some counseling then. Think of all the kumbayas and riots you'd miss out on if you shot yourself for posting a strawman argument on a message board.. Quote
guyser Posted September 14, 2011 Report Posted September 14, 2011 (edited) I think we'll all feel safer when the hippies stop thinking they're che guevera and that Canada needs an arab spring 6 months after a democratic election. I'm not too afraid though.. I know most Canadians would be happy to curbstomp some rioting hippies alongside the police. CPCFTW Posted September 14, 2011 Report Posted September 14, 2011 Same hippies who are talking about lynching and beheading people for being successful have their panties in a bunch because I suggested Canadians would beat them down for trying to overthrow a democratically elected government? Talk about hypocrisy, is that how the word hippie was derived? Quote
William Ashley Posted September 14, 2011 Report Posted September 14, 2011 (edited) You think your money is safe when storing it in a bank? You can trust the bank, but a good chance that trust will be broken in time. The Maxim, don't put all your eggs in one basket, unless you are a chicken. A prudent profolio will have a mix of assets, whether booked or material. You can store gold under your bed or in your bunker, but when it comes down to it you might need that bank account to pay for your groceries, unless of course you have a farm too etc.. but then what of the tractor. Money is not needed, but it is tied into the modern western life style. Having a gun for the fox may actually be the chickens best investment. What it all means is, finding a good institution whether a credit union or somewhere to cash your checks at face value is a good thing. This is why I'd like to shape the federal service around a bank. THE SECOND BANK (the first bank being the central bank and government sovereign wealth fund.) However if you deal in cheques, it is next to impossible not to have dealings with a bank or use services like money mart that take a chunk of money out of that as a service fee. Its your choice but if you have income in the form of a cheque it is hard not to have dealings with regulated industries. Edited September 14, 2011 by William Ashley Quote I was here.

Who where when? .. have their panties in a bunch because I suggested Canadians would beat them down for trying to overthrow a democratically elected government? Talk about hypocrisy, is that how the word hippie was derived? Naw it was revived by simpletons lacking any cognitive functions , became an internet meme for brainless knuckledraggers and is currently in vogue w far right wingers who lack any grace. Say.....there is a poster ..... Quote
Argus Posted September 14, 2011 Report Posted September 14, 2011 Im unsure what you mean. CATSA does all security screening at 89 airports in Canada. CATSA does no security screening themselves. CATSA hires private security guard companies to do that. CATSA announces new contracts for security screening. Argus Posted September 14, 2011 Report Posted September 14, 2011 And has it resulted a problem? Not everyone has to actually work for the government, you know. It resulted in Air India being blown up. Since then, nobody has attempted to smuggle bombs or weapons on aircraft. When they do, there's a good chance they'll succeed, as they did in Boston, because, like they did at the time, we employ low wage security guard companies to do the job for us. Argus Posted September 14, 2011 Report Posted September 14, 2011 What a bone-headed strawman. Id shoot myself in the face if I posted that. Not so much of a straw man as all that. We did have some poster on here wanting to see an Arab Spring in Canada... bloodyminded Posted September 15, 2011 Report Posted September 15, 2011 (edited) Young Black males? No...those most infamous for their hatred of young black males. "Curb-stomping" has long been a popular White Nationalist meme; more dank fantasy than reality, thankfully. Just as it was used here by CPC.
