Oh I doubt that...."females" have been concerned about a wooly bully bikini line for many decades, and were shaving legs long before that. Depilatory products like Nair (No Hair) have been used since the early 1970's.

Laser hair removal seems like a bridge too far in some ways. I mean, it is fairly simple if annoying procedure to remove unwanted hair if you do not have the procedure. If you do have the procedure, there is nothing that brings that hair back if you need it. I suspect that if you were to interview people who are stuck in freezing cold conditions whether they want to shave their hair or not, any with a lick of sense will respond, " Why the Hell would I want to help myself become more cold? "
