scouterjim
Nutter Harold Camping is at it again. He now says the world will end in October. When will this whack-job give up? http://ca.news.yahoo.com/us-radio-host-predicted-may-21-judgement-day-180238560.html Edited May 24, 2011 by scouterjim

AngusThermopyle
When will this whack-job give up? My best guess would be when his own personal judgement day arrives. However, given his age that could quite possibly still be in May.
Alan
Interesting post, Scouterjim, and thanks for sharing the accompanying link....At least when Wayne Gretzky scores a hattrick it means something worthwhile. With this guy, he could go 0-3 in his predictions, and still think he's credible.

Ripping off your listeners will get that for you.
dpwozney
During the rapture (1 Corinthians 15:51-54, 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17), Jesus comes as a thief (Revelation 16:15). Therefore, God does not employ prophets to prophesy the day or the hour of the rapture. The coming of the Son of man to earth, as referred to in Matthew 24:30, will not be the Son of man coming as a thief, because of all of the preceding signs in Matthew 24:5-29. Also, the time of the rapture is the end of the age, the present church age, not the end of the world. The earth abideth forever (Ecclesiastes 1:4). “Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:21) Edited May 28, 2011 by dpwozney
