  1. Congratulations to Cam Neely, and also a hat tip to the Vancouver Canucks as well

  2. An interesting thread, and a great question too. Have to hand it to President Nixon for opening up relations with China, and have to hand it to President Reagan for setting a no-nonsense foreign policy tone right from the very beginning of his 1st Administration(the quick/successful release of all American hostages being held in Iran for 444 days...). Seems where Mr. Nixon was smart enough to keep the lines of communication open on foreign policy issues, essentially "walking softly", Mr. Reagan "carried a BIG stick" so to speak.
  3. Long live the great people of Canada...Salut!
  4. Interesting post, Scouterjim, and thanks for sharing the accompanying link....At least when Wayne Gretzky scores a hattrick it means something worthwhile. With this guy, he could go 0-3 in his predictions, and still think he's credible.
  5. This horse race sounds like it may go down to the wire, May the best candidate prevail on Monday, May 2, 2011.
  6. Thanks for weighing in and sharing your thoughts everyone. Seems in spite of President Obama's good faith move, here in the States this issue still has two distinct groups, those who believe President Obama, and those who don't. Just hope some of my fellow Republicans realize that attacking him on this issue is counter-productive, and reset their focus upon improving the economy, successfully managing our two wars abroad--Merci Beaucoupe, Oh, Canada for your help--, and shaping policies that enhance the quality of life of the American people. Otherwise, President Obama will be re-elected for four more years. Safe travels to everyone who ventures out to vote tomorrow...
  7. In a show of Good Faith today, President Obama addressed the controversial issue of his disputed birthplace today... http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/42779923/ns/politics-white_house?GT1=43001 Hat tip to him for caring enough to settle this matter once and for all. Salut, Mr. President!
  8. I've heard great things about Huntsville, Ontario, Canada.
  9. Hoping for a miracle to unseat President Obama in 2012. Surely by now, all that "Hope" & "Change" hot air marathon pep rally has fizzled out even within his own base. Surely even his base knows now that it's not what he says, it's what he does that counts.
  10. Interesting debate going on here. Where I wouldn't necessarily want a woman to choose abortion as an option, I do respect her right to choose. However, hopefully, more and more women will choose to seek other options.
  11. Congratulations to Canada!!! Cheers to your continued happiness--WooHoo!
