August1991 Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 Greg/Charles, We are now in a federal election and the forum will have more traffic. We'll also have more threads started and more partisan bickering. We'll have new forum posters. Can the moderators leave a slightly wider berth? In particular, if a new thread gets started about a topic similar to an existing thread, can the moderators just let it be? Threads get hijacked and the conversation changes from the original topic. If you merge threads, then it becomes impossible to follow the conversation. It's the silly season for about five weeks or so. If I were you, I'd just live with it rather than try to control it. Harry Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 Actually I disagree as it is useful to have some threads merged like was done yesteday with the polling threads. So thanks to the mods for that. Quote
Charles Anthony Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 If I were you, I'd just live with it rather than try to control it. Yes. Good advice. Thanks! Quote We do not have time for a meeting of the flat earth society. << Où sont mes amis ? Ils sont ici, ils sont ici... >>
Oleg Bach Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 Yes. Good advice. Thanks! That's very good advice that could be applied to just about everything and all situations. Self control is power..and we all want that. Quote
