Greg/Charles,

We are now in a federal election and the forum will have more traffic. We'll also have more threads started and more partisan bickering. We'll have new forum posters. Can the moderators leave a slightly wider berth?

In particular, if a new thread gets started about a topic similar to an existing thread, can the moderators just let it be? Threads get hijacked and the conversation changes from the original topic. If you merge threads, then it becomes impossible to follow the conversation.

It's the silly season for about five weeks or so. If I were you, I'd just live with it rather than try to control it.

Yes. Good advice.

Thanks!

We do not have time for a meeting of the flat earth society.
