How can Quebec seperate from First Nations. One First Nations Leader told the Premier of Quebec, that "if he wants to seperate, go ahead, and head back to France, thats the only way Quebec seperates from First Nations." Quebec is a province of canada, and most of the Treaties are signed with Federal Governments, which Quebec is not.

This thread isn't about separation...

You want the thread regarding spamming....post there.

RIGHT of SOME, LEFT of OTHERS

If it is a choice between them and us, I choose us

Would you like to be a little more specific about where his errors lie?
Bambino, you see the world as a French notary. You are like the husband of Madame Bovary.
August 1991 is one of the Quebecois who gets very, very angry at the notion that Quebec is divisible too, particularly the First Nations aspects. They can wiggle their way past Montreal, but those pesky aboriginals just won't swear loyalty to a new master.
Wiggle their way past Montreal?

WTF?

Could you just answer the question, though?
Bambino, FT posted about First Nations and separatists. What does this have to do with my OP?
He won't do it. The question of the divisiblity of Quebec is one he just won't answer. Nobody from his camp will, the answer is unpalatable.
For the record (AFAIK), Jack Layton has said that he won't respect the Clarity Act and in his opinion, if a majority of Quebecers vote to secede, then the Quebec government should have the right to make a UDI.

But gambino and FT, you are really missing the point in my OP.

I don't know, but what does it matter? You replied to FT's post, and we replied to that. Just asking you to explain further, is all. I'll take it you don't want to.

It's the common frustration a Québécois will always feel as long as Québec won't be sovereign. It's the very same frustration the Québécois are having from the very start until now. Missing the point... really? I think it is done on purpose. It is also why those numbs call this federation a confederation. They understand what they want. It's a choice. Not a bad interpretation.

The dynamic will be very different the day they will no longer be our sovereigns.

They wouldn't answer that question when Chretien or Dion posed it during 1995 either.

Will anyone address Quebec's viability as an independent country. See this thread for my views on the subject of "countries" with no economies (link).

Why? Nobody's even talking about it anymore.

The post I quoted talked about a "unilateral declaration of independence" also known as "UDI". So August 1991 was.

And what is the harm in a UDI?

After all, the Declaration of Independence, posted on 4 July 1776, was a UDI. No?

They spent a few years in armed confict with the British after that. UDIs are never good.

For us??

There will be no harm at all...

For the traitors that dare make the effort??

How does a forced march at gunpoint from Montreal to Perce Rock...Then forced to swim to St.Pierre and Miquelon...Or a French fishing trawler...Or with the fishes...For the traitors sound???

The beatings will continue until morale improves!!!

Would do wonders to Canada's "untainted" international image, wouldn't it?

I'll gladly make the effort.

Do you plan to use the Canadian Army's infantry that's from Québec (isn't it one third of it?) to do so, I'm wondering? I'm sure they'll enjoy having their families and neighbours at gunpoint. Using the army might be the best way to make a secessionist out of every Québécois.

You're the kind that gets a really big hard-on holding a gun, aren't you?
