I see, so because she doesn't know, that's tantamount to all of Sun News not knowing? So when Rick Sanchez on CNN couldn't find Hawaii on a map, does that mean that CNN in general doesn't know where Hawaii is? Of course not. Be a little less hyperbolic next time please. :)

 Wow, you've jumped on the bandwagon, haven't you? Sun News is an amateur operation with amateur hosts (other than maybe Adler).

The more you comment on Sun News' content, the more it's an admission that you're tuning in. So if you think it's so amateurish then just don't watch.

I've watched it all of four times for a collective hour. I wouldn't call that tuning in. The only reason I say that Adler may not be amateur is because of all of his experience.

I agree, it is somewhat amateurish. But you're still wrong, just admit it.

Wrong about what? My statement wasn't even meant to be taken to the level of seriousness that you took it to.

It was Krista Erickson. I'm sure she knows the difference, but it was sloppy to not correct the mistake. My goodness, you certainly take criticism of FNN seriously.

That's because this well-worn, old news warhorse, which strives only for integrity and balance, has long suffered under innumerable slanders and unfair criticisms by all you folks who have been indoctrinated by the leftwing news media in general.

Hence the outrage (ie "stfu") over your deadly-serious remark.

There really wasn't one. Next time I'll be sure to ask your permission.

You don't need my permission. But it's usually wise to have a point to every post you make. Just consider it a lesson learned. :)

It's sad to see someone's main point of contention with the CBC so neutered he has to hide in a hole and never address it.

Nonsense. Many examples in several threads have been provided illustrating their bias.

Sun News drawing as few as 4,000 viewers

Bummer. I hope they get more viewers looking for more "balance." On the other hand, perhaps the mere fact this is reported by that communist rag The Toronto Star is not really reflecting the truth? Perhaps SunTV has a million secret viewers which cannot be detected. Like the 'silent majority' of yore.

In other news, us Rogers subscribers are being forced to pay for this just like the CBC, APTN and the Comedy Network.

Actually, in reality Sun news hasn't been doing to badly. They could really spruce things up with a billion bucks.

Round and round and round and round.....

I wonder , who owns Canoe News ?

Let me see......hmmm.....

Hate to tell you but Sun News is sucking really bad. Chances are that after Monday night their results will worsen. But they have deep pockets, short skirts and boobies so they might just make a go of it afterall.

Did you know one of the ads running is for CBC ? Gotta pay the bills ya know.

By the end of Sun News’s first week, shows featuring Winnipeg-based radio host Charles Adler and Ottawa-based journalist Brian Lilley were drawing 4,000 and 5,000 viewers across Canada in their evening slots (Adler had opened the week with 31,000 viewers and Lilley with 17,000).

A Sun News Network spokesman said Wednesday he had no comment on the network’s first-week ratings.

When compared against other news programming on the dial, Sun News is not rating highly. While Sun News commentator Theo Caldwell was drawing 11,000 viewers at 7 p.m. last Friday, CBC News Network had an audience of 263,000 viewers across Canada. CNN’s estimated audience in Canada at 7 p.m. on Friday was 38,000 viewers.

Another

The so-called "Fox News North" specialty service initially struck estimated ratings of about 31,000 viewers on its evening launch of April 18, but has now dropped to as little as 4,000 and 5,000 viewers in the evening slots with hosts Brian Lilley and Charles Adler, CP reported

I must first applaud the Sun TV News team for binging us the breaking news about Jack Layton and his massage parlor visit during a police raid. That was some excellent reporting. That is the kind of thing Canadians really need to know. So much in politics is scripted and controlled. Events like this give us Canadians a chance to see how a future PM would respond under pressure.

Judging from the bump in the polls this gave the NDP, I'm figuring that this last, desperate rightwing smear attack has boomeranged on Harper!

And SunTV is goddawful television from what I've seen so far. Like the Sun newspapers really need a TV station so that Ezra Levant can read his editorial to us on television...or we have to look at Charles Adler, as he does the same thing he does on radio....work as a payed propagandist for the oil companies!

I've watched about 2 1/2 hours in total since it's inception....

It looks like a poorly produced late night infomercial for right wing cranks in this country that seems to run for 24 hours a day...

Other than David Aiken, who I think is a pretty fair journalist,it's utterly abyssmal!

The beatings will continue until morale improves!!!
