Bill Clinton, for all his innumerable character flaws and his idiotic sexual weaknesses was at least an extremely educated, intelligent, and thoughtful person.

So is Stephen Hawking, but the babes aren't lining up to run their fingers through his hair.

There is no evidence Ms. Palin is any of those things, and much evidence she is not.

..ask her husband.

Economics trumps Virtue.

Try again rookie....and learn what "main supplier" means. The Saudis and Mexicans have been "main suppliers" far longer than Canada.

Length has nothing to do with it. Canada is the main supplier of foreign oil to the U.S.

Canada had 178 billion barrels of proven oil reserves as of January 2009, second only to Saudi Arabia. The bulk of these reserves (over 95 percent) are oil sands deposits in Alberta, which are more difficult to extract and process than conventional crude oil. Canada is a net exporter of oil, with 2008 net exports of 1.0 million bbl/d. Almost all of the countries exports flow to the United States, and it is consistently the top supplier of U.S. oil imports.

and from the Canadian gov website:

Canada: the largest oil supplier to the United States

Since 1999, Canada has been the largest supplier of U.S. crude and refined oil imports. In 2008, Canadian crude oil and petroleum products represented 19% of U.S. crude oil imports, at nearly 2.5 million barrels per day, or 13% of total U.S. oil consumption.

Clinton has better hair.

He's also a smooth, charming man, and very attractive, or was. Hawking - not so much.

..ask her husband.

Somebody married Pamela Anderson, too. I wouldn't elect her to high office, though.

It is an inverted moral calculus that tries to persuade the world to demonize one state that tries its civilized best to abide in a difficult time and place, and rides merrily by the examples and practices of dozens of states and leaderships that drop into brutality every day without a twinge of regret or a whisper of condemnation. - Rex Murphy
