bud Posted October 29, 2010 Report Share Posted October 29, 2010 (edited) jason kenney has been exposed. in a recent ruling, it was determined that the canadian government is using anti-terrorism as an excuse to suppress legitimate political debate. especially when it comes to questioning the israeli occupation of palestinians and harper's one-sided, unwavering support. in this case, jason kenney used his powers to ban a person, a well-known critic of israel and the war in afghanistan, from coming into canada. as it has been shown, an israeli/jewish lobby group in canada, jewish defense league (JDL), was behind the banning of galloway. close to two years now, jason kenney has been dealing with another lawsuit. this time by the canadian arab federation (CAF). after kenney had accused CAF of being an anti-semitic organization, he used this charge as a pretext for cutting funding to some CAF run programs. kenney also used every occasion to smear CAF and associate its activities with terrorism and anti-Semitism. after much delay by kenney and his 5 different legal representatives (paid by us, the taxpayers), it is expected that kenney will lose this as well and will further expose him. FAR more civil than Arab "students" demolishing Canadian university to prevent speech of Ben Netanyahu. But what can one expect from terrorists. And Galloway clearly supports Hamas with money and other things.....and implicitly agrees with their Charter to rid the world of Israel. The judge concluded the government fell short of the standard required to label someone a terrorist. "It is clear that the efforts to keep Mr. Galloway out of the country had more to do with antipathy to his political views than with any real concern that he had engaged in terrorism or was a member of a terrorist organization," the judge stated. "No consideration appears to have been given to the interests of those Canadians who wished to hear Mr. Galloway speak or the values of freedom of expression and association enshrined in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms."
