wyly Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 (edited) Ah, I see the logic! Two wrongs make a right! What's more, since one wrong is so much greater than the other the tiny wrong has the right to do anything! Do I understand your reasoning correctly? Or did you mean something different from what you said? just putting things into perspective, people in the west/first world are rightly upset when terror comes to their homes but forget this is what third world has been subjected to for decades by the dominant powers...people go on and on about the 3,000 dead of 911 but how many of those same people gave a crap when the USA sponsored a terror war in Nicaragua that killed 60,000? where was the outrage then?...the USA invades Afghanistan for harbouring Osama and protests when a Libyan plane bomber in Scotland is released but at the same time it harbours a convicted plane bomber Luis Posada Carriles...there is a hypocritical double standard in play... nicky10013 Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 I respect your opinion and agree with most of it. However I feel it is still putting the cart before the horse. Islam has been decapitating folks since the 7th century well before any modern dictator. Re: genocide. I didn't start this thread. You don't need a modern dictatorship to implement authoritarianism. Oleg Bach Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 My son dishonoured me the other day - and I really felt like dispatching him...what the hell do you want a son that is an enemy anyway --well cold old me did not bother to off the kid - not because I could not _ I simply do not want to do the time ---joking of course...respect and honour is about empowerment - when someone disempowers you ...you should at least be allowed to kill them a little bit..lol.
