Looks like all the people got off the rig safe, but not much information about how extensive the damage is. Those in Louisiana just can't seem to catch a break. The rig is owned by a Houston based company. You can hear BPs huge sign of relief from here!

Apparently the rig was not extracting any oil at the time of the incident, that could be welcome news we don't need another spill in the Gulf.

More to come I guess.

From what I've read, it's an inactive well. But hopefully they can at least find out what happened.

Seems active enough to have fuel for some explosive catostrophic event. As for information regarding what is taking place I am sure most of what we will hear will come from their spinsters and damage control people...I will expect a cover up of real events immediately - after all - will these people behave better than BP? Also again know one really knows or wants to tell you who owns what ......BP - gave us the run around from the get go - these people will do the same.

It all seems to get down to class and good behavior - seems that those hording the most money have the least amount of class these days..It used to be that the rich and powerful of the days of old had a code of good conduct, duty and a thing called honour. Looks like the worst have risen to the top and the best human beings have been driven to the bottom - socialism or corporate socialism...are very similar - they kill their best and exault the lowest of the low to the highest positions - oh well ...glad I am getting old and will not be around for when all hell breaks loose because of this broken - perverse and twisted system we have allowed to be created.

Apparently there's no real problem. There was some oil stored on the rig, but nothing coming from the wells. And the wells are in shallow water, so even if there was some type of leak problem, it could be fixed quite easily and quickly. Hmmm, shallow water wells, what a concept!

Well that isn't true Shady. Shallow water wells aren't "easy to fix" only a crazy person would say that. Kab 101 Being a great example of this it took 2 months to handle that well blow out and that was in much shallow water then this one. Shady one more time just because you say something does not make it true.

It is whispered that now Americans are carrying on active business, directed to removing Greenland from our Danish jurisdiction! Well, it is rather logic for the USA which is very interested in further expansion of own Arctic territorial zone now. This permits to extend boundaries of Arctic mining for the USA in future.

Though it is only rumors now, but I’m sure that our authorities should prick up their ears. It is common knowledge that Washington has wide experience and developed arsenals for own protйgйs’ coming to power in any country, being of interest to the USA at this moment…
