Mr. Harpers reply to any questoning has generally been to remind parliment of how evil the liberal spenders were. This sure proves that he and his party are no better. It frightens me that these people believe that the very laws they were using to get the liberals are being broken by themselves.

There is another forum on here on why people supposedly Hate Mr. Harper, I contend that we don't hate him but we are very afraid of the Hitler like actions of this government.

Since the Tories were so GOOD with the inand out scam, I have wonder also, have used the in and out scam within the government. WE would never know if money went elsewhere and I wonder if the auditor general could. Could she? Trust, no I don't trust these guys and they have proven not too.

"Yahoo!!!!...Vindication!!!"

"Suck it,Socialists!!!"

"Wait a minute..."

"Oh...Crap!"

Gee, there are some crooked Tories. I guess I shouldn't vote for them.

I'll go to the NDP. Whoops! Forgot I have some personal knowledge that they're just as bad.

Over to the Liberals. What a minute! I nearly forgot! Adscam! Shawingigate! All that other stuff!

Once again, what's changed? We vote for who smells the least. This game of "tit for tat" only succeeds in tarring them ALL with the same brush! It certainly is not going to make someone change their support back to the Liberals just because the Tories are "IT" for the moment in some political game of tag.

Gee, there are some crooked Tories.

Yes, there are some crooked Tories.

A couple of years ago, the line was that only Liberals were crooked, so everyone should buy the Conservative pig-in-a-poke. Now the line is "We're no worse than they were!"

Alas, that's a lie, too.

We vote for who smells the least.

There seems to be a lot of people who've gotten so used to the smell they like it or just don't have a sense of smell to start with. Then there are the incurable synesthetes who see rainbows when their guy farts.

And of course as everyone knows your own shit always smells the sweetest.

A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.

So are you telling me there is a ballot option that I WOULD like the smell?

You appear to have found one though Lord knows why.... but we are suggesting that you should maybe check up on how well your sniffer is functioning. After all, Adscam was three leaders ago, while In-out is but one on a long and growing CURRENT list of moral lapses.

Well Molly, I am philosophically totally opposed to the NDP. As for the Liberals, can you tell me what the hell they actually stand for these days? Other than "We're not Harper!" and "We're all new kids, too inexperienced to have done anything corrupt yet!"?

I agree that the CPC stinks! So what? Is it some game of tag, where you keep bouncing back and forth, avoiding who ever "dealt it last" and supporting the "second to last"?

It's not enough to besmirch a choice. You also have to prove that your alternate is better! Otherwise, why change? That's Salesmanship 101!

Even if I were willing to believe that the Liberals in the last couple of years have COMPLETELY changed their spots there's still the problem that Ignatieff has yet to come out with any firm policies on much of anything!

Bill... I think you just explained why Harper falls short of majority:

Then why does Harper poll so much better than Ignatieff as best choice for PM?

Why do the Tories enjoy a 10 point lead while the Liberals are now lower than they were under Dion?

The Liberals have consistently been sinking lower and lower and lower. Doesn't seem that THEY are proving themselves a better choice to me!

We've agreed that we see only poor choices. To me, that means tie goes to the incumbent.

No, Bill. What we agreed on is that the CPC performance falls far, far short of hope or expectation.

For you, that may mean a tie. For me it's a stone-cold, yelloow-dog 'anybody but'.

ABC for me means NDP. Check your riding's voting results for the past few elections and see who came in second to the CPC and vote for them.

Its time these guys were shown the door.
