That is the definition of Creep. The lowly snake that suffers the dust in his face because he can not rise up and be an angel...

Angel was the wrong word - maybe being good and God like was what I meant. There is only one empire that exists on earth and it is mine! As is yours - we don't need a mob of angels or devils to do our bidding...nor do we take pride in decieving a soldier into sacraficing himself as if it were useful to the greater good.

If more of us took the position of being on the right hand of the boss then those on the left would do what was right - sinisterism is a losers game - always - but as a power monger said to me "Some people do not want to be saved" _ I believe he was talking about himself - I had a revelation one morning on the farm after being up all night cleaning out a basement full of two hundrend years of posion...I* stepped outside to see a blood red sun rise - and sensed something - not a voice but a message ...I felt so sick but I stated to myself that I was not afraid of death...Then like a silent inner voice - there was a statement - "I have something in store for you that is worse than death: - there might just be a hell after all - and there will be no escaping it - most powerful men seek oblivion at the end - but do not always get it.

That's what makes her stupid, too. Anyone who doesn't realize that they aren't competent to be the POTUS is stupid.

I don't know if it makes her stupid. If she doesn;t realize it, then yes she's stupid. But if she does realize it (how can she not??) and still wants to run makes her selfish, and in a way, unpatriotic. To know you are not competent to be POTUS, let alone, VP, and yet still run for the job, you are doing your country a huge disservice.

But then, the voters have the final say. Thankfully they they didn't vote her into office with McCain.

No he didn't....many more "nuclear bombs" would go off as would proxy wars. JFK went to DEFCON 2 and Canada's DND followed, ignoring your Prime Minister. Acts of war included a naval blockade, quarantine, and vessel seizures....and prior to that there was that Bay of Pigs thing...so smart compared to what a President Palin "might" do...which started the whole thing!

Never said the Bay of Pigs wasn't stupid. The number of proxy wars and covert actions that JFK was involved with never had close to the potential of destruction that nuclear war with the USSR. Hell, JFK ordered a draw down of 1000 U.S. troops in Vietnam a month before his death, which Johnson reversed, and McNamara said he wanted to pull out the troops by 1965.

Point is, JFK got the U.S. out of the situation. If he had listened to his military, like Bush likely would have done, poop would have hit the fan, well beyond what the blockade did:

When President Kennedy saw the photographs on 16 October,[13] he assembled the Executive Committee of the National Security Council (EXCOMM), fourteen key officials and his brother Robert, at 9.00 a.m. The U.S. had no plan for dealing with such a threat, because U.S. intelligence was convinced that the Soviets would not install nuclear missiles in Cuba. The EXCOMM quickly discussed five possible courses of action:

1. Do nothing.

2. Use diplomatic pressure to get the Soviet Union to remove the missiles.

3. An air attack on the missiles.

4. A full military invasion.

5. The naval blockade of Cuba, which was redefined as a more selective quarantine.[14]

Unanimously, the Joint Chiefs of Staff agreed that a full-scale attack and invasion was the only solution. They agreed that the Soviets would not act to stop the U.S. from conquering Cuba; Kennedy was skeptical, saying:

"They, no more than we, can let these things go by without doing something. They can't, after all their statements, permit us to take out their missiles, kill a lot of Russians, and then do nothing. If they don't take action in Cuba, they certainly will in Berlin."

Why do you think there were missiles in Cuba? Or Turkey?

Stupid doesn't look so smart after all. Palin hasn't killed anybody....yet.

JFK nearly got the US into a nuclear war. Brilliant! You have no idea what Bush would have done...but we know what FDR, Truman, Ike, JFK, and Johnson did. Pretty damn good company.

Speaking of JFK - don't you people have any presidents that are not spawns of laundered mafia families?

Ya, JFK shot himself in the foot. The entire point of my reference to the Cuban Missile Crisis was to use the Crisis itself as an example of the biggest poop-pile a President has ever been in. One should ask themselves how they think a potential candidate for POTUS would perform in such a situation. Things like healthcare and taxes are important, but they are Pringle chip crumbs compared to that hot potato.

No I do not. I do have a problem with your CIA who facilitate the importation of hand guns to the poor sections of our large cities. I guess destablizing nations is the key to your wonderful success - I thought we were friends?

Fair trade guns and free range chickens eh? B C - if you pulled the dope market apart - half of the economy would collapse - If you got rid of big pharma product that promises to make you bleed out of your ass hole along with giving you suicidal ideations that are perhaps homocidal in the long run - the other have of this sick economy would also desolve.

We can't stop the dope and you can't stop the guns.

Funny part is that Canada always had retail for the ammunition!

Warez Mexico is just the begining - what were you guys thinking when you wanted cheap labour to clean your toilets? Look at Britian - they wanted more servants and now that servant is body packing a dream consisting of 72 virgins and a pair of burned underwear. The dope thing for you guys got big when congress would not supply corporations with miliary force to protect the bannana farms...so with the help of your black opps - off you would go and bring in a few tones of cocaine to sell in east LA..then take the money buy guns and say you are fighting the communists..You are going to need a better ruse soon.

Nope...you have it ass backwards...it was always guns first.

Without guns, America would not exist (and neither would Canada).

There is a movement afoot to make amo non-existant in the states..so is going back to black poweder and musket balls made from grandmas melted down putter tea set? I don't have a problem with an armed populace providing they are educated - wait - Didn't some female professor just off some of her colleges for not granting her further tender?

The whole world is shifting - it is as if one polar field is passing through the next and good and evil are blended into a sickly grey soup at present - all the guns in the world will not stop what is about to come - total moral and intellectual collapse - headed by Palin and her gang of honkys.

Wouldn't matter....my uncle and many other like minded patriots can roll their own in the garage or basement. One pull for each new cartridge....ready to go.

Education not required....God created man...Sam Colt made them equal.

Africa is but a myth in the minds of the brothers..so is old England and Russia - So what's it like to be a man with out a nation..without a home..just ask me - My family have been on the run for at least 500 years and I am the last standing..ask me how that feels? BC you are a reasonalble and a good man in my estimation - as long as I have but one friend on south of the 49th I feel at ease - just wondering if perhaps I will travel to Cyprus where I have a son - and be buried there _ This place was a great let down - what was my father thinking?

BC you are all talk and Bravado. You are not that tough and cold - but in this world at least you make an attempt to comfort yourself with your staff..fear - breeds the need of weapons..rarely did weapons come into being for the sake of comforting a conquering tyrant. If you have a fine mind and great spirit you can run through the thickest and most savage of circumstance and come out the other end unscathed..but few will reach that height of human developement because so many fear being cut from the herd and standing alone - weapons are needed by the fear filled mob - but not by truely brave men and woman...Don't get me wrong _ I am expert in weaponry - but there comes a time when a man has to be a man and put down the stick.

I was thinking of a different change.

The populism of Obama offers a false hope of payment of debts and retribution: victims made whole.

The populism of Palin offers an application of basic American values: individual responsibility

Obama offers more than that, while Palin hardly represents "basic American values." If she and McCain had, they likely would have won. Now even the man largely responsible for Palin's being the VP pick says it would be disastrous for the Republican party if she were to be the candidate in 2012.

She's not competent for the position, and that's what my comment was in regards to. My neighbor might wholly represent "basic American values," but that doesn't make her qualified for the job of President, and neither was Palin. Furthermore, even according to the man largely responsible for being the VP candidate, she had a problem with telling the truth. I think Palin more or less pretended to represent some American values. She's a proven hypocrite, though, and the more she is 'out' there, the less the Republican party will be able to pass her off as something she's not, and I think that was the hope in the last election-- that there wasn't enough time for anything to get out. I think they were hoping to present a 'clean slate,' and time has done away with that.

I don't know if it makes her stupid. If she doesn;t realize it, then yes she's stupid. But if she does realize it (how can she not??) and still wants to run makes her selfish, and in a way, unpatriotic. I see what you're saying, and I agree, but I have to wonder if she didn't realize it. That's my point. I have to wonder if her ego is such that she believed she was up for it. You make good points, though, and the same goes for the Republicans who basically admit that they had her on the ticket only because they thought it might help McCain win. That line of thought is as 'unpatriotic' and 'selfish' as it gets; to put the country at risk just to get your 'agenda' in.

But then, the voters have the final say. Thankfully they they didn't vote her into office with McCain.

Amen to that.

Gov. Palin has every right (and expectation) to pusue the office as much any "stupid" or "unqualified" male. In retrospect, Geraldine Ferraro would also not pass this very biased and sexist gauntlet, but she was still on the ticket for the same reasons.

Oh good Lord. Please spare me the "sexist card."

My comments had nothing to do with her gender, and your attempt to make it such shows me that you can't refute what I actually did say.

It is sexist, and the media has reported it as such, compared to male candidates.

I have already refuted what you say...you just don't like it, and as usual, declare victory when there is none to be had.

"Declare victory?" What are you, ten? :D

You didn't even begin to refute what I said. You made it about gender, which has nothing to do with my comments, and then proceeded to refute something I didn't even say.

Good job refuting the sexist aspect of it, though; it just had nothing whatsoever to do with my comments.

This is your standard operating procedure...at least you are consistent. The requirements for POTUS are enumerated in the US Constitution....Gov. Palin is qualified.

I was referring to "qualified" in the "competent" sense, and had you actually comprehended all that I said, that would be clear.

But do carry on anyway. It's what you consistently do. ;)
