bloodyminded
It was three words. A campaign slogan, as Time Magazine put it. Very clever. Wow. So now we've moved on from "it's not important" to it actually suggesting her smarts. It's not only clever--the amazing act of writing on one's hand--it's "very" clever. Yep, it's now actually impressive. That Palin wrote on her hand. Very clever. You know, I bet she brushes her teeth two or three times a day. I really admire this. It speaks to her endless well of remarkable qualities.
Guest American Woman
Fox News is evidently trying to spin it as Palin having done it to poke fun at Obama's use of a teleprompter. Now, suddenly, it was deliberate and like Rush's use of "retard," quite witty, I'm sure. Like I said before, the more she's out in the public eye, the more the public will see her for what she is. I really don't see her as having any following outside her little conservative circle of like minded lemmings.

Considering the saturation of Palin into the news and cultural cycle over the past year-and-a-half, I don't see that her popularity is growing. In fact, it's the opposite. A lot of conservatives aren't too impressed with her either. Her supporters are loud and defensive, but they're fringe.
