wulf42 Posted October 7, 2009 Report Posted October 7, 2009 (edited) Israel is responding to Iran by converting it's sub fleet to carry Nuclear cruise missile's in it's torpedo tubes and increasing fuel capacity giving them longer ranges as well they have developed a cruise missile that can go 1,500 km with a 200 kt nuclear warhead,i imagine the Israeli's will only continue to upgrade their systems which will get better and more accurate weapon systems with larger kt warheads which will allow immediate nuclear response against Iran, so to answer those who say "why shouldn t Iran have Nukes"...here is your answer! What it doesn't say is, while tomahawk missile, like the B-52 can carry a nuclear payload, neither have been used with one. A tomahawk capable sub is a deterent whether it is conventional or otherwise. Doubly if you can't know which. ...on the otherhand, why did we buy those austin leylands?
