  1. Funny thing about France is that they screamed about Polanski being tried because Polanski sins were 30 years ago, same thing with Chirac, whatever he did was a long time ago and like Polanski, putting a 70 something in jail for an alleged crime committed a long time ago means that the State of France, or any other state or country's prosecutors are not going after the real criminals. They are just grandstanding and want their face in the media. These are easy cases to bring to court and worth nothing but the paper they are written on.
  2. When you are visiting another country, you should respect their culture. That is so simple. Remember "when in Rome"? If you are Catholic, you may remember that there was a time when women could not go into a Catholic Church without covering their head. Catholic Church finally got over it, maybe so will Islam. Hillary did the right thing.
  3. Do you have a link to a picture of Hillary wearing a hijab? Haven't seen her in one and don't expect to.
  4. All anyone needs is to follow simple hygiene rules. WASH YOUR HANDS. Unfortunately most humans do not and pass on their dirty germs.
  5. Point 1. It does matter as the majority of men in prison are black. Point 2. It is the the best of ideas, as the majority iof blacks in prison have longer sentences than whites who have comitted the same crime. Point 3. I could tell, but thanks for confirming that. My response to liktor was tongue in cheek. I live in Texas, when I am not in France, and it boggles my mind that Texas has to release so many "criminls" that have been wrongly tried. The real criminals are the district attorneys who put people in jail for their own political gain.
  6. I carry the idsinfectant wipes; I do not touch a grocery cart before I wipe it down and I am thinking serously about passing on the H1N1 flu shot.
  7. I live in Texas, a border state, prone to more contagious diseases than other states. CNN has a map on H1N1 cases on a state by state basis, check it out. I would see a doctor if I could find one that would see me. A lot of illegals in Texas are clogging the Texas medical system.
  8. When is it on? Can't wait for that. Palin V. Winfrey. Fantastic.
  9. You're right, it has been 10, not 1,000, more like a 1,OOO for the state and I live in a BIG STATE in the US. My apologies.
  10. I am hoping that the Saudi king will find a way to get out of this horrendous mess.
  11. I was wrong, George Ellis, a cousin of George Bush works for the political desk of Faux News. Still, one and the same.
  12. I carry those disinefectant wipes with me. When I get on a plane or train, I wipe down the seat arms and the tray, even the remotes for when I am on a plane and the TV screen. I use the wipes for disinfecting the grocery carts, particularly the seats where parents sit their kids with smelly diapers. If I am eating in a restaurant I wipe the chair, etc., and I don't care if people think I'm nuts.
