Jessica S Posted December 11, 2009 Report Posted December 11, 2009 (edited) Actually, you need 250 electors as well as 3 party officers other than the leader. You also need at least one candidate. Hi all! I've just visited this forum. Happy to get acquainted with you. Thanks. __________________ Watch 2012 Movie Online Free Edited December 11, 2009 by Jessica S Quote
ccen Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 I believe a true centre to centre-right party is needed and one that will truly replace the Progressive Conservative party but people will keep saying it will never happen. I got up to 40 people saying they support it and we just need the 250 electors left pretty much so the naysayers can nay all they want and say the party is a mistake but I think voter support is the thing that needs to increase in Canada and a party must stand to help increase it and be about moderation and conservatism on the centre-right side. ccen Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 Well in answering the question about how the party would have to govern is centre to centre-right since that area is currently unoccupied and the current Conservative party is more closer to the Canadian Alliance ideologically than the old red tory Progressive Conservative party which we would try to govern much closer to. Therefore we would be centrist, liberal conservative, one nation conservative, traditionalist conservative, neoliberal, and be for reducing the size of government. I think that is what most Canadians would want in a party. Quote
