bush_cheney2004 Posted September 27, 2009 Report Posted September 27, 2009 Quit playing games Morris. You're not that stupid, you just don't give a shit is all. The west has been screwing this region and it's people over for decades. Root causes...foreign policy blowback - these terms have pretty much always summed up the entirety of why we've been hearing demands to get out. Only after you were taught such terms by the same processes. Nazism was "blowback" too.... I thinks its people like you that the terrorists really hate. People like me are just collateral damage. Unfortunately you savages hide amongst the rest of us so they can't tell who's who. You know how that drill works. No...they pretty much hate you too...infidel ! Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
eyeball Posted September 27, 2009 Report Posted September 27, 2009 Nazism was "blowback" too.... I don't doubt this too was entirely preventable. Quote I said now watch what you say they'll be calling you a radical, a liberal, oh fanatical criminal
Guest American Woman Posted September 27, 2009 Report Posted September 27, 2009 Hi American Woman.Let me be clear about OBL. His hypocrisy is laughable and his request for the West to leave has no weight. Hi Naomi. Thanks for the clarification regarding bin Laden and his demands. I want to go back to comparing, or not comparing the situation in Afghanistan and other occupied territories. I'm glad to see that America is trying to take a new approach to Afghanistan. However, when a bomb is dropped on a building intending to kill an enemy while knowing that civilians will die as a result, then it's wrong. From the beginning it was supposed to be that way; great care was supposed to be given to innocent civilians. I'm not sure if bombs were knowingly dropped on buildings occupied by civilians, but if they were, then I agree that it's wrong. Referring to it as "collateral damage" doesn't lessen the action, imo. A mother whose daughter's skin was burnt from acid for attending school is in as much anguish as a mother, whose daughter's legs were blown away after a bomb was dropped where she was playing. Yes, the mothers are both in just as much anguish. But the first act was intentional and will continue as long as the extremists are power. The second is unintentional, and the only way to completely avoid it is to completely avoid war. Which is another topic altogether. I find it to be wrong when some, in our culture, justify and excuse killing or injuring civilians in order to kill a 'terrorist'. So do I, when civilians are knowingly being struck. I'm not sure what you mean by "justifying" and "excusing" though, because I think that's different from recognizing that some civilians are going to be killed in any war; that it's unavoidable. Quote

But I agree, the terrorist might hate me and would surely approve of more of you...even as they plot to kill us both. bush_cheney2004 Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 I don't doubt this too was entirely preventable. Well Krikey...we need to get you and your great preventive strategies into a DeLorean DMC-12 and go back to the future to fix all this stuff. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
