What? Who is driving Palestinians out of Gaza? Quit making crap up.

In case your knowledge of the facts is really this badly deficient, I'll help you out:

Israel pulled out of Gaza and left the area for the sole habitation of Palestinians. No one is colonizing Gaza. There are no settlements in Gaza.

The only organization to drive any Palestinians out of Gaza was Hamas, when they took over. They brutally executed Fatah supporters they could find, and others fled through Israel to the West Bank.

Hamas mass-execution of Fatah members.

Hamas kills Fatah in Gaza.

Hamas breaking Fatah members' legs.

Warning: Extremely Graphic.

That's exactly like USians saying Canada should WANT to be part of the US. (manifest destiny  ) Not interested. Ain't going to happen. fugoff USA.

Obviously, Palestinians feel the same about Israel.

Nope.....SFU just joined the American NCAA.....fugoff not.

Better analogy would be Caledonia and unsettled land claims in Canada.

Relatively to the US, the existence of such land claims in Canada shows that critics were not silenced by way of extermination.

No....occupation and extermination...just like in China. Israel learned from the best.

In other words, that's what you hide behind when someone calls you on your defamatory statements. Got it.

You claim to denounce propaganda in other threads, and here you are using terms like "apartheid wall" to once again try to defame a certain people and their nation.

The borders proposed in the UN partition plan in 1948? Do you know how many people would become displaced if Israel reverted to those borders? You seem to have no hesitation proposing policies that would involve the displacement and disenfranchisement of hundreds of thousands or even millions of Jews. And yet you claim to stand up for people that lost their homes and their land. Your utter one-sidedness is plainly obvious in this statement. Statements like this are where your hatred is most evident. Even the slightest offense of Israel against the Palestinians seems worthy of starting a new thread to you, meanwhile the displacement of vast numbers of Israeli Jews you deem inconsequential, or even just.

Bonam, despite you bogus claims, and there have been so many, I clarified my statement so there would be no misunderstanding.

I call it an apartheid wall, because that is exactly what it is, what it is intended for.

It is to cut Palestinians off from their land, to isolate them, and to imprison them.

It is called exactly the name it is.

"The borders proposed in the UN partition plan in 1948? Do you know how many people would become displaced if Israel reverted to those borders? As opposed to all those already displaced? So Israel can displace Palestianians and that is ok with you? But those displaced via illlegal occupation can just stay displaced, one big difference.......

Israel made a choice to usurp land, Israel can deal with the consequences of it's chosen action. There is no victimhood to be had there, Israel chose willingly as policy to steal land illegaly and displace millions and milllions of Palestinians.

If the people become displaced through correction of Israel's course of illegal actions, that is Israel's problem isn't it?

You seem to have no problem when other persons are illegaly displaced from their lawful homes? Attacked with illegal weapons, segregated, apartheid roads forced onto their property, oh that is all hunky dory, right Bonam.

And some of your statements, positively reek of entitlement

"Perhaps they could have negotiated with Israel over the course of a few years to slowly allow increased self-determination for the territory of Gaza,"

Bonam I will ask again, how many generations does a land claim last for Israel????

NO answer ever given, though you suggest time limits for Palestinians.

Why should they not be subject to the exact same land claims and right of return as Israel extends.

I see no reason why not, equality for all!

Not onesidedness Bonam, The Palestinians are equally entitled to what the Israelis are, no more and no less. That is equality, and that is what you cannot accept.

Are you suggesting that they are somehow less entitled to their land, their livelihood.

Why yes, I believe you are, and have always have been.

Insults are the ammunition of the unintelligent - do not use them. It is okay to criticize a policy, decision, action or comment. Such criticism is part of healthy debate. It is not okay to criticize a person's character or directly insult them, regardless of their position or actions. Derogatory terms such as "loser", "idiot", etc are not permitted unless the context clearly implies that it is not serious. Rule of thumb: Play the ball, not the person (i.e. tackle the argument, not the person making it).

Interesting that kuzadd would alude to South Africa. The reality in South Africa is that if you were white and you could leave...you left. Those that remained in South Africa now face a reverse apartheid due to employment laws that favor blacks over whites. Seems some things never change.

Some Journeyman Pictures documentaries on the situation...

A reversal is quite a change.
